Docta Chav 0 Posted March 17, 2013 I am planning on including a train-like travel system in my game. The plan is that you can travel to any unlocked train station from any other train station. As I have 10 towns that can be unlocked in any order it is not very easy to do this through switches and conditional branches. If it is possible I would like a script that allows the stations to offer options that have been unlocked (through switches) and then allow travel to these stations. For example, a quest in town A may unlock travel to town B. After completing this quest and visiting the train station you would get the option: Travel to town B. Clicking on this would transport you to the station in town B. Another quest in town A may unlock travel to town C. If this quest was completed before unlocking town B then visiting the station in town A would offer: Travel to town C; but if town B was also unlocked then the options would be: Travel to town B, Travel to town C. Thanks a lot in advance. P.S. Sorry if this request isn't very clear I'm very tired at the moment.

Tsukihime 1,487 Posted March 18, 2013 You can use Choice Options to attach conditions to your choices. http://himeworks.wordpress.com/2013/03/06/choice-options/ You can hide choices if certain conditions are not met, such as a switch being OFF Simple set up: use a script call to hide the second choice when switch 1 is OFF So when you talk to the NPC, there wouldn't be an "enter" option Until the switch is ON. Docta Chav 0 Posted March 18, 2013 Thanks to both of you. Moghunter's script is nice but I think I would prefer a simpler layout if that exists. Tsukihime, that looks like a possibility but I've not had a chance to try it yet. Would it be compatible with a script that allows more than 4 choices? Tsukihime 1,487 Posted March 19, 2013 (edited) I have only tested it with Large Choices and it works there. Don't know about others. The choice numbers are still just the order they are specified, so if you had 3 choices for the first set and 4 choices for the second set, they would still be numbered 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 As you would expect Edited March 19, 2013 by Tsukihime
