Wow, that is actually pretty awesome work! Didn't know dragons could have so much emotions ^_^

I really can't think of any critiques because I'm pretty sure people will find use for this. Btw, that second face, is he grinning or is that just his normal face?

I like it ^_^ I'm actually using a custom dragon battler that looks just like this :3 my only issue with it is that the shadow effect is a little off.

You should probably mention that this was an edit, not original like you were implying....

If you want to see it, it's at the bottom of this page.

Still not a bad edit, though.

Regarding the original work, I actually like your Anthro characters design quite a lot. He looks threatening and imposing but his eyes and emotions also make him look gentle.

One thing I noticed about the way you drew him was that his edges weren't really too prominent, thus it was kinda hard to get a good look at him and all his features. If I were to make a suggestion, It'd be to focus more on the edges, and possibly crop out part of the ears so that his face will stick out more. (Since the facial features are what should be getting the attention)

As for his expressions, I think his emotions get across very well. I would reccommend giving a bit more focus into the eye. It seemed like you were a bit hesitant on editting it in any way unless it involved closing it completely. The angry face and the crying face are actually pretty good examples of what I mean. While he does look angry, the eyes look the same as in each of the other face sets, making it look more natural if anything. For the crying, it'd probably be good to have the eye squint a bit more at the bottom.

This is also kind of a nitpick, but I'd reccomend making the tear a more clear color. While it's true that they are often depicted in a shade of blue. They're more clear and reflective if anything.

Overall, while I think you have parts you can improve on, I think you should be proud about what you've accomplished.
