Cait 385 Posted September 4, 2014 (edited) I am attempting to get better with designs, this is likely best served to parallax mappers, but you can use it in engine, too. UPDATED... I redid the base. Edited September 5, 2014 by Cait

Cait 385 Posted September 6, 2014 (edited) I updated the pillar, but more practicing resulted this graphic.. the bottom right is to be used for VX/VX ACE, but the others xp, vx, or vx ace. Please leave comments and critism, as I am still practicing. Cait 385 Posted September 12, 2014 I thought we needed a royal looking bed, plus, I needed the practice to create my own wood. Feel free to leave comments.
Allusion 398 Posted September 12, 2014 Wow! That looks amazing, Cait! Your tiles are really beginning to obtain a polished--almost 3D--effect. The textures are all beautiful on this. The wood, to me, looks more like solid gold, but that's not a bad thing for the end result. (Fits a royal/fancy bed more than oak and such to me.)
Cait 385 Posted September 12, 2014 Thank you very much. I have been working very hard on improving, the one graphic I am afraid of doing is water. I think that might be the next thing I attempt, even creating furniture to go along with that bed. I've been working on wall tiles, even dungeon tiles, and I might release those the next holiday as a gift.
Cait 385 Posted September 14, 2014 I have updated my bed with other pieces.

R-Soul 2 Posted September 17, 2014 update. Here is an screenshot of my latest dungeon. Guess the inspiration. You know, if you name the image file with the answer to your question, it is rather easy to respond
+ LadyMinerva 998 Posted September 17, 2014 ^^ Hehe you wouldn't know about it until someone else says it. xD But I had a feeling it was Zelda anyways... Very nice screenshot Cait. :
Cait 385 Posted September 17, 2014 True, but it screams Zelda, so I was not worried. I was told the lava hurt someone's eyes, that I should lower the saturation, only I think the lava is where it should be. It is RTP, so feedback, please. What do you think. Allusion 398 Posted September 18, 2014 Excellent updates, as usual~ I love the dresser/drawer designs, and the mirrors look great! As for the lava, I don't think it's blinding. It looks perfect as it is~ Some people are just more sensitive to those types of things, I guess. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
R-Soul 2 Posted September 18, 2014 Yes I agree with Allusion, the saturation is perfect. That lava along with some steam animations and maybe even a little image distortion would look awesome.
Cait 385 Posted September 18, 2014 I have a orange tint to one of the grates, which does seem to bring out the glow in the lava. But I am not too worried as I have a plain version, too. i created some hearts [completely original, btw], and while I can not add them to your game or script for it...I can and will release them to the public for any engine, free or commercial use. @Allusion Thanks. I've been trying to learn how to create original pieces without looking at real pieces, plus the lesson to create glass was good. I am happy that it turned out, so well, but as usual, I went overboard.... Oh well, it makes for really good practice. I wanted to learn how to draw water, but I can not find a good tutorial with pictures as it seems that 'Ocean's Dream's' blog no longer has pictures. Sadly.
Cait 385 Posted September 20, 2014 GrandmaDeb wanted me to add to my ancient dungeon, which I am doing, but I am adding some new stuff.. that looks promising.
Cait 385 Posted September 22, 2014 wip, should be released in a couple of days. I will do some more editing on the door.
Cait 385 Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) A brand new dungeons with Easter eggs of Zelda and Mario. EXAMPLE DOORS Edited September 25, 2014 by Cait
Allusion 398 Posted September 26, 2014 Excellent work, Cait! Those doors are simply divine! (Not just the design, but also the shadows you gave them~) Your patterns look great! And the hearts are so adorable~ You seem to have a great talent with UI related things in general.
Cait 385 Posted September 26, 2014 Thanks. I have been holding something back, [selfish moment] because I love the look of the windowskin. I decided or have been trying to create a message hud, using this windowskin with a grunge background. It is a wip at the moment, because I need to work on the background a bit.
Joey 9 Posted September 26, 2014 Wow. You still amaze me with awesome graphics. I really appreciate the hard work put in to these graphics. Keep up the good work!
Dollsmaker 7 Posted October 7, 2014 may i ask who to give creds to for these tiles please or is it everyone down in the creds bit o; ? (sorry i got confused)
Cait 385 Posted October 7, 2014 That particular tileset was all edits I did.
Dymdez 77 Posted October 14, 2014 Thanks! I have to admit that this has to be my favorites thus far. o.o Of course, I keep saying that X is my favorite and the best I've done, only I keep going. ( ) Plus, my keyboard is working again, so no more screaming from me. I have a wall and a carpet that I can't put up as they use Celianna's tile as a overlay. A wall and a carpet (the one with white flowers). If you want that tile, I can send it to you via email as long as you follow her rules. Back to adding tiles. I forgot to remove two TVs, which is why I didn't upload the dark version yesterday. My mac doesn't have an editor program and my internet sucks! Oh well. I am hoping to create lamps, but my biggest problem is still the light part and what it looks like. I don't have to worry about animation, as modern lights don't have animation attached, though, I guess I'd have to create an animated version, too. dark versions: You can create two versions, dark wall or light wall. I wanted to give people the ability to do modern goth style (includes black) and the historical what many people call victorian (black = death, you wear it for funerals), so people are free to create whatever style they desire for their maps. Ah, interior design one of my favorites things to think about. If the dark tiles are not dark enough for you, feel free to edit them, but with the colors of the set, you might not have to, with a good tint, it should be pretty dark for a horror game, I think. CREDIT: AYENE for the doors French country style floor: This has both the light and dark floors and as I said, if you want the wall and the white flower carpet (just pm me and I'll send you a copy. No trouble, only I don't want to get into trouble. Even if I don't completely agree, what can I do to disagree? As long as you follow her rules, and you ask me for them, no trouble. This section has an alternative to the kitchen, tiles on the cabinets. I am going to attempt to create my own pattern for the wall, hoping it works out.) The example map cannot be produced with the tileset -- I've tried. Any ideas? Thanks anyways for the amazing resources.
Cait 385 Posted October 14, 2014 I was not sure if I put the walls on the site, but if you're talking about the windows.. I had floor right there, and placed the windows over that. Other than that, the rest of the map is done in the editor as I do not parallax map. The window is the only place that I could think that might be confusing.
Dymdez 77 Posted October 14, 2014 Yes, that's it - Sorry, I do not have eyes for mapping like you all. Progress is slow in this department, lol! Thank you so much - makes my maps much better
