Abstract: A game for treasure hunters about treasure hunters. Do you like hunting for treasure? Then this game is for you!

Genre: Fantasy RPG

Average Demo Time: 2-5 hours, depending on completion and how much you explore.

Game Progression: Approximately 10%, but now that the groundwork is done, the rest of the development should go much quicker than the start did.

Recruitment: N/A

Story / Setting / Purpose:

(Taken from the intro to the game)

There is a place in this vast world where only the most brave... and perhaps the most foolhardy of adventurers go to.

The land of Il'moria.

Surrounded by a sea of nearly impassible reefs known as the Great Reef Barrier, Il'moria is a secluded, and incredibly dangerous land, full of deadly monsters, massive labyrinths and of course...

Rare Treasure.

Those who seek the treasures of Il'moria, in all of their rare and mystical wonder, join the Treasure Hunter's Guild in the civilized capital of Il'moria, Il'centra. Doing so grants them the right and resources needed to navigate this dangerous land and find the treasures they seek.

So... What is it that you search for, brave adventurer?

Do you search for the Rare Treasures for their value?

Or perhaps for the mystical properties that many of them are said to hold?

Perhaps you search for rare monsters, powerful enemies to test your might against.

Perhaps you search for friends, allies that will fight alongside you even in the most dangerous situations.

Or... perhaps you simply search for adventure in the land of Il'moria.

Armor Type: Heavy
Story: A young Knight from a faraway kingdom. He has been sent to Il'moria on a quest to recover the Elixir of Purity, a rare treasure said to be capable of healing any illness. The princess of his land has been stricken with a horrible, seemingly incurable illness, and it is believed that the Elixir of Purity is the only way to save her.
Personality: Luda is a gentle, yet brave Knight. He is the sort of man who would protect a flower from being trampled on, but would not hesitate to cut down a foe that threatened to harm those he cares about.
Class Description: The Knight is a balanced melee class that can fare well in either offensive or defensive roles.

Elise
Class: White Mage
Skill Type: White Magic
Weapon Type: Staff
Armor Type: Magic
Story: A young White Mage from a faraway land. She is searching for the Scroll of Tot, a rare treasure said to have a spell inscribed upon it capable of removing even the worst forms of petrification. She seeks to undo a petrification curse placed upon her village by an evil wizard, and it seems that the spell written upon the Scroll of Tot is the only way to save them.
Personality: Elise, despite being burdened with the heavy weight of having to save her village, is one of the more optimistic and happy-go-lucky characters you will recruit. Even when things look grim, she always tries to inspire everyone to look towards the most positive outcome.
Class Description: The White Mage is the main healing and protective class in Treasures of Il'moria.

Maria
Class: Black Mage
Skill Type: Black Magic
Weapon Type: Staff
Armor Type: Magic
Story: A young Black Mage from a faraway land. She is searching for the Runestone of Omor, a rare treasure said to grant the user unlimited magical power. What could she want something as potentially destructive as the Runestone of Omor for? Is it wise to trust her?
Personality: Maria is rude and antisocial, clearly putting herself before others and not really caring about what happens to you or any of your allies as long as she can get what she needs. She will berate you if you bother her with pointless conversation and will taunt her enemies after defeating them. But... perhaps there is some sort of depth to her character underneath her ice-cold exterior?
Class Description: The Black Mage is the primary offensive magic class in Treasures of Il'moria. It can cast a variety of elemental attack spells, as well as a few status effect spells. There are other classes capable of using offensive magic, but they lack the elemental variety that the Black Mage does, which can use every element other than Light and Dark.

Kaito
Class: Thief
Skill Type: Thievery
Weapon Type: Dagger
Armor Type: Light
Story: A young Thief from a faraway land. He is searching for the Coin of Midas, a rare treasure said to grant the ability to generate infinite wealth to anyone who holds it. Does he seek this treasure solely out of greed, or does he have some other underlying reason?
Personality: Kaito is a "cool" type character, full of energy and not afraid to be a bit of a smart-ass. In order to recruit him, you will have to find him after he robs you of some of your gold, and even after you agree to work together and forget about what happened, he will occasionally remind you that he TOTALLY doesn't intend to steal your stuff anymore. Can you really trust a Thief?
Class Description: The Thief is capable of stealing items and gold from enemies, as well as other thief-like skills such as the ability to quickly flee from battle. The Thief is somewhat lacking in overall attack power, but he makes up for it with his useful Thievery skills.

Rei
Class: Monk
Skill Type: Martial Arts
Weapon Type: None
Armor Type: Light
Story: A young Monk from a faraway land. She seeks the rare treasure known as the First Scripture, the earliest known draft of the Holy Scripture that describes the religion that most people of the world believe in. She believes that there are translation errors, or perhaps intentional changes made to the current editions of the Holy Scripture and she wishes to find out whether her beliefs are true or not... And if they are, does that mean her past actions were not sins that would condemn her to the underworld?
Personality: Rei is a cold, quiet character, filled with a deep burden of guilt upon her soul. She feels that she has committed a great sin in the past... or at least, that's what the current translations of the Holy Scriptures say, and only by finding out the truth will the weight be lifted off her shoulders. She is strong-willed and brave, but doesn't show much outward emotion. When she defeats her foes, she offers them a prayer, hoping that they reach the afterlife safely, and wishing that they hadn't attacked in the first place.
Class Description: The Monk is a strong melee class with the highest HP of all classes. The Monk cannot equip weapons and strictly gains additional power from leveling up. Early-on, the Monk is much weaker than most other melee classes, but over time it will grow to one of the most powerful classes.

Noah
Class: Bard
Skill Type: Sing
Weapon Type: Lute
Armor Type: Light
Story: A young Bard from a faraway land. He seeks the Angel's Hair, a rare treasure in the form of Lute strings that were once used to play a great symphony at the creation of the world. He wishes to play the most beautiful song for his love using these strings, as he confesses his feelings to her.
Personality: Noah is obsessed with love and often speaks of the one he loves. He is kind and gentle, but also somewhat foolish and gets preoccupied with silly things, such as how he can't possibly join your party unless you can find his Lucky Quill that he uses to write his songs, which he dropped somewhere in the Quan Woods dungeon.
Class Description: The Bard is lacking in power, but makes up for it by being the core stat-buffing class. He can Sing songs that will bless your entire party with a stat buff or other special effect, but he can only sing one song at a time, so using another song will overwrite the previous one.

Adrin

Class: Archer
Skill Type: Archery
Weapon Type: Bow
Armor Type: Light
Story: A young Archer from a faraway land. She seeks the Vorlis Arrowhead, a perfectly crafted arrowhead with no flaws that is capable of piercing through the strongest steel. However... she seeks the arrowhead not for herself, but for her Master, a man named Morlam, who raised her and taught her archery. Morlam had gone on a quest to obtain the Vorlis Arrowhead, but never returned, and Adrin plans to follow in his footsteps and accomplish his dream.
Personality: Adrin is quiet, yet strong-willed, much like Rei. Unlike Rei, however, she strikes down her foes with no remorse - to her, they are merely in her way of her objective. She offers them no prayers or apology. She is focused on her goal and will eliminate anything who stands in her way.
Class Description: The Archer has near-perfect accuracy (and can attain absolute accuracy with skills), but it's main focus is on it's ability to debilitate it's enemies, reducing their stats by striking specific points on their body with arrows.

Known Issues:

- Sometimes the battle turn order icons will get messed up on the far-left side. It doesn't affect the ones that actually matter (since the next turns are on the
far-right side of the list), but it does look kind of weird. Just ignore it, I guess.
- If you press the cancel button on the main battle menu, it will snap back to the previous character in the list, allowing you to select a command when it isn't
actually their turn. However, the command will not work... not yet, anyway. When their next turn finally comes around, they'll use the command you selected
before. This might end up messing you up, so try not to do that. However, in order to escape from battle, you need to go back through the list until the
Fight/Escape menu comes up, so only do that if you actually intend to try and escape. This is all a flaw with the battle system, and as I am not a scripter,
I have no idea how to fix it.
- The game starts up a bit slow. This is because it's initializing the midis. For some reason, VX Ace takes longer to load midis than mp3s...

IMPORTANT UPDATE

If you previously downloaded the game, you will need to download it again from the same link. There was a game-crashing bug with one of the enemy's attacks, but I've fixed it. You do not need to re-download the RTP, only the main game files. Your save files will still work, just copy them over to the new directory.
