This script allows you to use a full animation sheet for the second graphic as a sprite instead of the default 192x192 cells.

Download

Get it at Hime Works!

Installation

Place this script below Materials and above Main

Usage

In the configuration section, type in the ID's of all animations that should use the full-sized sheet. Then set up your animation as usual.

When an animation is full-sized, the second picture will be treated as a full sheet, while the first picture is treated normally.

Keep in mind that the editor only shows the top-left corner.

You would basically follow the steps shown in the pictures so I'm not sure if there is something you are looking for.

This looks interesting. Don't know particularly how much use it will be, but it looks cool nonetheless.

It's basically showing a picture before a skill is executed. So for example you could make a battle cut-in, where you see the actor's face on the screen before the skill is executed.

There are also cases where you have "big" sprites, and it would be unfeasible to have to take all of those small cells and put them together. If I had to put together that fan using the default animation tools, it would take way too much effort when all I want is to have one sprite fade in and out.

Here is a simple cut-in that is displayed before some sort of attack is executed

You would start with your cut-in image as the second graphic, followed by the regular attack animation in the first graphic.

Naturally, you have the full power of the animation editor to make animated cut-in's.
