sacrifyx 3 Posted November 15, 2014 Twin Hearts Saga, Volume 1: Resurgence is a full game. Well, a full volume of a game. There are many more to come, but this one is complete. About 2 hours of playtime IF you go everywhere, do everything and talk to everyone. You needn't bother with the whole topic I linked to if you don't want to. The direct download link is here. There's also a small zip here that should be downloaded as well. It contains some map files that will replace some in the game download to correct some bugs another player found. The game has been pretty well tested otherwise and you shouldn't run into anything game breaking. This is light fantasy, no elves or dwarves or anything of that nature. It should be good for all ages.
+ Tuomo L 116 Posted November 28, 2014 Is it a copyright strike or does Youtube simply say you're using music that they could profit off of? In other words is it a copyright strike or third-party content? You can simply acknowledge third-party content, since this is a small non-profit channel to showcase games, most people wouldn't be too concerned about their music unless they were money hogs. I haven't gotten any copyright strikes on my channel yet, but I have gotten quite a few acknowledged third-party claims. Claims are just annoying to deal with, but sometimes the original producer of the music can go to your video and add promotional ads to your video if they wanted (like I said, money hogs). Again, you probably don't have to worry. It's few song tracks in games that are licensed, I have had this problem in many games though not just RPG Maker but the content id system likes to flag a lot of the audio, only once has it flagged a visual portion as well. It makes me have to mute the audio track for that portion, sometimes causing a desynch of the audio entirely due to it to remove the portion of the offending audio. It's true that they can add ads to my video but that means they are the ones who would profit off my videos and my content and I'd essentially be working for them for free. I don't have any other option right now, since I'd rather get the little ad revenue that my videos that are even generated (all my let's plays have ads in them since I am a Youtube partner and they help me do these and other things). This is not non profit, I get little ad revenue and clicks from my videos. It's really tiny sums at the moment though, like most I got was 50 cents in a month since I'm so small so it's not my job or anything, most of the time it's just 20 cents a month or so. As little as that is, sadly it means that I cannot claim that the videos are non profit even though I've spend far more money into the let's plays, such as purchasing the webcam and the better headset. Honestly, I'm a small channel and stuff like this sadly does matter to me. Also Sacrifyx, I'll start playing that next week along with long overdue Zendir 2 let's play.
