Jet 60 Posted December 2, 2011 Mouse System by Jet Introduction Another script from me, Jet. I've never seen this done well, EVER. Always buggy or exclusive to a game. This time, I think it's near-perfect with HUGE functionality. It's even already been featured in a commercial game! Features - Mouse! - Easy to Configure - Mouse reperesented by picture OR icon - Hovering event text if mouse is hovering over event - Changing mouse graphic if mouse if hovering over event - Ability to take control of events with mouse - Near-Flawless pathfinding with ListRA-92's pathfinder - Activate events with just a click - Uses event comments for event-specific options like those listed above - Supports walking in 8-Directions - Can be turned completely off with a switch - Scroll Selectable windows with a mouse's scroll wheel - And more...! Screenshots They're VX but, it's the same. Rafael Sol Maker 22 Posted December 3, 2011 Very good script. This is one of my personal favorites. It wouldn't be used in every project, or this incredible feature will become boring. Must be used with caution, and adaptations. I don't remember if was your or woratana's version, but I made an improvement to the system. Hopefully I'll complete the system and release it one day... Jet 60 Posted December 22, 2011 Not sure what's causing that, but I do have a new version you can try. The new version has some lag fixes, bug-fizes, and 2 notable changes. 1 - A new option. You can now choose to use Dijkstra's formula to pathfind instead of what it used before. Dijkstra is commonly accepted to be more accurate, but a little slower on shorter distances. 2 - Moving manually with the arrow keys stops mouse movement. Nathanial 105 Posted December 22, 2011 Try starting a new project and using the default map. Add some land and place your character. Now try. This version of the script does not like semi-large maps.. Also note this: Standing right next to the guy, if I click ANYWHERE else on the map, it just triggers the event I stand next to. Hum, by the way, thank you for crediting Berka (from our French Community) but in every script he made he inserted this line : # Ne pas publier sans autorisation expresse. http://www.rpgmakervx-fr.com Which means "do not publish without my authorisation", followed by the link of the community where he is.
