Free to Use Music

Recommended Posts

Hey all! M4uesviecr here.

As of recently, I have noticed a lack of "symphonic" and "orchestral" tracks in my portfolio due to having absolutely no works available that are recent.

To alleviate this, I have started writing small classical (and soon to be not simply classical) ditties and have begun uploading them to my portfolio.

These tracks, I decided, are going to be free to use so that anyone can incorporate them into their game, if they would like.

This stash will constantly be updated with more and more tracks, so if you wish to partake, do so at your leisure!

All I ask is for you to uphold the regulations I have set for my music (listed below):

Regulations are subject to change!

Regulations for Free to Use Music:

A. No editing of music tracks unless I (M4uesviecr/Jasmine Cooper) am contacted.
If there is a particular track of mine you wish to edit, please PM/message with details on what you plan to do.
This does not include the pitch shifter in rpg maker vx.

B. I (M4uesviecr/Jasmine Cooper) must be credited for the work, in every derivative, and any form (that includes edits, covers, etc).
Example format:

If one piece is used:
"Title Track"
by Jasmine Cooper
www.jasminecoopermusic.net

If multiple pieces are used:
"Title Track"
"Title Track1"
"Title Track2"
by Jasmine Cooper

Added A Second Link Containing Music from an old rpg maker soundtrack, Homage.

2. Homage - Free to Use

For those who use my music, if you have a demo out or anything playable, I would love to try it! Hearing my music being used in someone's pride and joy is icing on the cake for me!

Wow, that new song sounds nice. For some reason I imagine a fanfare.

Yeah! With the initial opening, I could totally see why you would think that.

I'm not sure if many people would think of it as a battle theme. I hope so!

Sometimes I feel as though my "battle themes" don't necessarily feel like battle themes.

Your art is very good, by the way!

Is it supposed to be a battle theme? @_@ I didn't know, haha. I'll listen to your music and follow you on sound cloud.

Thank you for the compliment ;w;

Although they won't fit my dark-toned project all of your music are nice

Dark toned? Can you give me an idea of what it is you are looking for?

I'd like to try my hand at the particular type of atmosphere you have in mind.

My themes are revenge, intrigue, mystery, ...maybe dark ambient or gothic atmosphere will do  :)

Here are sample kind of the music I'd like to have in my project

Hey guys! I did some digging and came across music from the first project I ever wrote for, Homage.

The developer, Raoul589, had insisted that I set up the tracks and sell them, or distribute them out as free pieces for use.

Being my first completed project ever, I felt that it would be fitting to submit them.

They're not as well done as my latest, but I do enjoy them compositionally, and I figure someone may find a few of the pieces worth using.

I have put the link in this post, as well as re-updated the initial post with the additional link!

It has been quite a while! I have 3 pieces that are available for use (details can be found on the soundcloud page):

The Mask He Wore: An orchestral piece. Has an .. odd feel to it, I would say.

Knock Knock: A percussion piece.

Aborigi-lin: Folk tune

I have recently purchased EWQL, so many of these are exercises, or short ideas, that I came up with utilizing different EWQL instruments. I'm steadily trying to work on balancing and the like, so there will be more!

Edit: I had trouble, but it seems to have solved itself.

Also, this is some of the very best work I've heard, great job. :)

@Sandkins:

Glad to hear that your problem was resolved! Also, thank you for the compliment! ;)

@Zalera_95:

I'm glad you like that tune! I don't really write cutsey stuff, but I really enjoyed making that piece!

Also, I apologize in advance, but a few of the songs I posted are not in ogg. format (sigh). So, in  a few days, I will re-post them in the proper format that will ensure perfect looping.

I think your music are very well made,looking forward to hearing more :)

In my opinion, "Ants on a mission" is perfect background music during lighthearted/comedic scenes.
