I always like receiving feedback on all of my tracks, so if you would like to see more of one particular track I've written let me know! and feel free to send me a link to your project if you ever use any of my tracks. As it really is a pretty amazing thing when I see work used in other projects!

New Tracks

It's been a while, but I thought it was time to update this thread, with some of my newer works, In no particular order:

artworks-000055197612-0jmihg-t200x200.jp

Slenderman's Lullaby:

This was the track which brought my return to music production! Originally hidden within the depths of an old home, it has now been made available for you to download free of charge for use in Non-commercial and commercial rpgmaker games!

artworks-000047496955-p6tt01-t120x120.jp

Raining Shards

This was an unpaid commissions, which I've now released to the public to download and enjoy. This track was designed to be for a more casual game in the veins of Bejewelled, etc.

I just wanted to say that adore Jonnie's music. I listen to his Sound Cloud everyday and I love his Futuristic Package he has released. When I listen to his songs I could imagine scenes which is why I chose him as one of the composers of our games. His free resources are on par with his commercial songs because he pours his heart out onto his music to appeal to his audience. He's actually reasonably priced, extremely friendly, and easy to work with and I would have not have chosen any other composer other than my current one (who is additionally writing tracks for my game)).

The songs I have requested were right on spot and with other music composers I have worked with, it was never really what I wanted.

Keep up the good work, Jonnie. Can't wait to hear your future releases especially your Dark Fantasy release.

I LOVE your music Jonnie! I went through your sound cloud and WOW!!! Your work is so great, it's a blessing to have you here and the fact you lend your talents for us to use in requests and commissions is so amazing of you and generous! ^_^ Thank you so much for all your hard work to bring such great music to the community!

Thankyou so much to both of you for you kind words it really does make my day when I get feedback from stuff I've created. The more feedback I receive the better my work will become. I'm currently getting a custom built Desktop for Music Production so that will increase the amount of instruments I can use!

Also, i've updated the main thread now everything has been recreated using Soundcloud Images rather than tons of text, this just makes it look slightly neater for me and makes it easier for me to update as well, I've also added a bigger selection to my Commercial Free content! :) So all you commercial developers ENJOY ^_^ (just please remember to update your credits)

Also, feel free to send me a PM if you use my music, Just to let me know what you thought. I really love hearing from people who use my music xD

I particularly like your haunting tracks (Misery in the Monsoon, After Dark, Steaming Wonderland, and Slenderman's Lullaby) but I also liked the energy that came from 16 Bt and Battle of the Wind.

My haunting tracks seem to where my best work comes from, normally because all of these tracks are made for a reason, and are based on something in my own life I'm writing about.

16bt Menu is my most strangest away from the norm track.  it actually was a complete accident when I created it, it was when I was still working on Tharis' track I was struggling with some ideas and they kept clashing with some of my older stuff ^_^ so I was trying my hardest to keep my head clear from other tracks. xD I signed up to YoYo's forums to get my music out even further and someone requested a 16bt menu track ^_^ that was that story

battle of the wind...I have no idea what that came from ^_^ it was so random I just threw together some different ideas and I was VERY happy lol xD

There's something about Escape which makes me want to skip it, I don't know what exactly because I know jack all about music production but if I had to guess I'd say it almost sounds a bit to similar to another track of yours Jonnie.

Aside from that minor thing (Complaint perhaps? I have no idea myself) there's a good amount of diversity in this free music pack, a few other tracks sound a little odd sometimes but the tracks are fine if I'm the only one who cares about that really.

All in all this is good work as I've come to expect from you, despite my earlier comment about knowing nothing about music production I do however think some of these tracks could be improved.

---

Tracks which could be improved in my opinion

Escape - Something about this track is too similar to another track (Does this perhaps draw inspiration from Tread Lightly or Manipulative Talker?)

Steaming Wonderland - This sounds a bit 'grainy' at the start I suppose you could say.

---

I like Raining Shards, don't actually know why though.

That Premium Release is so wacky, what on earth's with that?

Misery in the Moonson sounds strangely familiar to a track I heard in a VN a few years back.

Anyway, just thought I'd let you know what I thought of this music pack as it is right now.

@Shezou:

Ohh critique, thank you very much xD

Escape was actually the FIRST track before Manipulative Talker and WAYY before Tread Lightly. The scales are exactly the same which is why similarities were used, It should say in the Soundcloud description what I used, it's Tetra Mirror and also the Iwato scales.

Escape and Manipulative Talker, is designed to make you want to turn it off, It was written when I was rather pissed off with the world ^_^ so it was a venting track :D which I gave away to try and relieve my frustration as such.

Premium Release, they aren't full tracks, xD they are 3 in one, if you look in the premium member forum you'll find the downloads for the full tracks :D

Raining Shards was so much fun to make, it was highly against what I normally wrote back then, but it was fun xD

Steaming Wonderland: That track is horrendously ancient now xD it was back when I was using Magix Music Maker Premium xD I don't think I can even FIND that track anymore ^_^

Thankyou so much for all your comments, it's great to get some full on critique, something I've not really had since writing music :) so thank you!

Oh, now I get it. That Premium Release was starting to freak me out a bit, I completely forgot about the downloads in the Premium forums.

Music Mangler sounds like the mood of my thoughts when I wake up and find a spider in my room (Thankfully that's very rare).

Your welcome for the critique, I'm always looking for things to tear apart and investigate (Not literally of course).

Got any more tracks planned for this 'Dump' any time soon? I'll glady try to give you some critique after giving any or all a listen if you do.

Another selection of free tracks from me are finally here! with me finding one of my older shorter loops, being remastered and updates with new instruments, and changed from what I remember being a rather simplistic string and brass (i wouldn't go as far as orchestral :x) to an interesting rockier track

The ride of your life loop is available to listen to and download on my website and soundcloud now!

Also if you've not already checked it out, take a nosy at the selection I wrote for Novembers ReStaff! You can view it in the ReStaff Forum!

Your retro contributions were great in the retro ReStaff set, Jonnie. You should consider doing a full pack for the RMW store to compliment the oldschool pack.

That is something I've thought about in the past, I've already got a mini pack being released very soon, but if there is enough support for it, I may end up trying to release a retro pack as well :)

I do know a few people who can sing yes, I used to sing a lot but I've not done so recently, :) I am also a song writer as well, as a commisison I do offer song writing and production as part of my commissions.

Nice. For my project based on The Legend of Dragoon I thought I might request a new version of the theme song, "If You Still Believe".

Sadly I don't do covers of tracks, and requests are more for instrumental pieces, such as the ones shown on the front, as I have to pay my female vocalist for her services :) so it wouldn't be possible for a request, however I could do an original track based on the Legend Of Dragoon. Personally I love that soundtrack I've actually written a few pieces as a commision in a similar vein and style which you can listen to one of them here.
