When Bugs Roam Ur House 656 Posted April 24, 2015 I like how you drew and shaded the mountains! They look very nice. I also like all the different elements you added into your picture. I think one thing that could be tweaked, however-- and this is just my opinion-- is the size of the smaller trees in the background. I think they maybe look a bit small compared to the "cat"-erpillar, flowers, and the mushroom. Here, i think it would be better to have the tops of the trees near the top of the picture, since the other elements in the picture are a bit bigger, and also seem to suggest an eye-level view. Thinking about what we see of a tree, at eye-level, we usually only see most of the trunk and not really the branches; this is why i think it might look better to keep the tops of the trees out of the shot. But i like everything else and i think the "cat"-erpillar idea is pretty creative. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Cait 385 Posted April 25, 2015 Yeah, I still need lots of practice when it comes to nature. (^o^) I actually might go back and do some more work as this is for a really close friend of mine. (-_-') Hmm, I might check out other paintings with trees just to get some idea of good examples. ^o^ On a positive note, I'm working on another twitter banner for me, with elements of my own personality and likes...
