You cannot expect people to help you for free and get mad when they don't. It doesn't work like that - that's not fair.

I suggest perhaps starting out on a smaller project that you are able to complete on your own. You will gain experience and skills which may allow you to be able to finish your current one.

It might take a while RoseGuardian, but I promise that after a long time, you will slowly start to reach your desired finished point. Making games is a long and slow, tedious process! I understand that you're a little frustrated that people can't help you much but they are very busy...and we are very busy (I forgot to include myself...). I hope that you can steadily work through this, but it'll take lots of time and patience!

Well, I can help you with maps and events. I'm on a LOOOONG vacation and the project I'm working on with my friend doesn't even start until he finishes the script, which is probably going to take a while considering the amount of work he's having. I'm somewhat crafty with my eventing skills and I think I can create presentable maps (I do have some trouble with castles >_>, damn royalty!)

 

Things to know about me before we work together:-

• I wish to have *some* amount of input and opinion in the matter. I want you to consider my opinions but I will respect your final decision, even if it was against my opinion since it's your project, not mine.
• I don't do voice chat. I absolutely hate talking to someone through a phone or a computer but I'm completely fine with text chat/PM.
• I'm not a scripter.
• I do have limits. I'm fairly certain that I won't be able to create the next Final Fantasy or Suikoden............yet ^.^
• I don't like schedules but this is countered by the fact that I have lots of time in my hands.

So yeah, I think that's all. PM me an unencrypted version of your project if you're interested and I'll try to familiarize with what you already have.

 

EDIT: Oh, I see that you're almost done with the game, my bad. But I'll try to help in any way I can, if, you need my help.

I can also be of help if nessassary, though, my abilities and conditions mirror INDOJIN's (Now known as Pickle Bros), the difference being I find castles and other royal settings easier to map then most other places (seriously, I can not creat a decent small farm or the like to save my life). I'm also good at creating ruin-type places, again specializing in places where members of upper society would have congregated before the place became, well, ruins.

Sorry for making everyone wait so long.  I Just want to say that my friend cannot help me with this game because he's been busy.  So I am just letting everyone know this project is still active I just need a little more help, not resource wise though.  I am kind of having trouble putting the new story together so I need some one willing to help me with just that and check for grammar and spelling errors nothing more.

I'm in the process of redrawing the art and Heart I no longer need castles because I am redoing the story where it takes place on Earth in the future but not with a bunch technology.  I am using the DS and DS Plus Resource Pack one of my friends bought for me.  So I will need a few ruined places and also the game is as long as heck just to let you know.  I hope you don't have trouble mapping with the DS and DS Plus Resource Packs.  Tsarmina I'll give you the game file when I finish getting it back up. I don't believe I have those, (not sure though cause a friend who quit using RPG maker gave me his DLC packs, and I've yet to actually go through them) But I have been working on my mapping, and along the way my specialization changed to where it now lies more in nature scenes rather then ancient castles and whatnot. I'm still pretty decent at those though.

I just wanted to let everyone know so that this topic won't get closed.  I am currently waiting on a new lap top because mine stopped working.  I should have it by Wedsday.  Also this project is not dead I am currently writing the story out in novel format.  I wrote down all of the skills, items and stuff as well.  I am on chapter 11 of the story I am writing for the game and at 106 pages     I can already tell this is going to be a heck of a long game and I got really great ideas that inspired me from a game I am currently playing on my PSP.  So please forgive me for making you guys and girls wait so long.

Thank you! I rewrote the whole story though and I am currently redrawing the artwork since I got my new lap top yesterday.  I am breaking this into two sepreate games because I finished part one of the story and it come up to 131 pages and this my be a bit of a spoiler but the story kind of branches off into another event not really related to the first game but with the same characters and some new ones too. I don't know when I'll have the game posted yet because right now I am stuck with the Lite version of RPG Maker VX Ace since I lost my product key to the download I bought.  I did buy the disc version of it though and I should have it by Friday.

A lot of changes have been the first three chapters are now playable. I have the whole story planned out but if you have any suggestions do not be afraid to tell me please.  Also if anyone is wondering the only way you get money in the game is by completing optional guild requests and finishing the main objective of the chapter not by killing enemies.  I am taking a little break from working on this by the way and i will do the other chapters when I am not feeling overwhelmed or lazy.

Also I don't want to be rude but why won't anyone give my game a chance! I changed the story! Please give me feed back on it.  I really want people to give it a try this isn't fair.

I feel like  most people are judging it by how it was before. Please don't do that. I want feedback on the new story very badly.

I feel like I should just give up all together! Its not fair! I feel like worked extremely hard this for nothing!

Calm down. I know how annoying it is to work so hard on a game and in the end no one tries to play it.

 

Have you tried creating a blog or tumblr for the game? Try talking about it on there - tag it as "rpg maker game" and

people may give it a chance. There are also people who may be willing to work with you, but you have to make

a good impression. First of all, the game is full of typos, it's shown even in the screenshots and videos.

 

The way you talk also drives people off. "Please play my game!! Give it a chance!!" No offence, but this actually

made me not want to play your game at all.

You can create blogs on tumblr for RPG Maker games? I didn't know you could,  I thought that was just an art community.  Guess I should try that.

 

Also I do not understand why the way I talk drives people away. I mean they can clearly see I am upset, but that doesn't mean I'll be that way towards negative feedback.
