That would be pretty cool...but weird ^^" Just imagine that! I might, though :3 (Assuming I finish her/me one day.) I haven't gotten any further on Isis, but I'm planning on today being the Tackle Drawing Day In Pajamas so I might get more done.

What with all the sketches going on (and my crazy posting self) I made another one...much neater this time :) I reveal to you one of my FAVORITE characters from my Alice in Wonderland...EVERETT!

hULSa3C.png

Are you looking at a boy or a girl? ;) You decide...(you're not really supposed to be able to tell at first sight) He's a water-vapor-smoking, mushroom-inhabiting candy-loving pervert human-form caterpillar, but I love him all the same~ <3

He's slightly differently sized than the other portraits (which I usually do RTP-size for similarity's sake) but I like him this way....and are the folds on his robes cool or what???

kaos82.gif EEEEEEEEEEEE!       Everett foreva~~~~

I'd like to offer an update for all my super-patient requesters because you're probably wondering on how I'm faring with all these....

mrmilkman: Done :)

Jeff-Andonuts: Eunike is a WIP, I'm still at lineart stage.

w0lfie: Haven't started that CG yet.

Sughayyer: Isis is still at lineart, getting a huge cleanup except Photoshop is being annoying.

Jeff: 18-year old guy hasn't been drafted.

Jeff: the 10-year old hasn't either.

Randy: Uh...not yet.

Sughayyer: Josh, Abadom, and the four other chars haven't been started yet, only Isis so far =.="

And on my own I'm working on Coralie, Pip, and Everett.

If you object to the status of any of these, feel free to post it right here in the Lab (helps to keep me organized), and if I somehow happened to forget someone, please tell me asap. :) Well, that's what I've got to work on today! It's a lot...

Phew! It took a long time for me to gather up the minutes here and there to complete this, but Isis is done for you, Sughayyer! ^-^

I originally colored her with brown hair so her hair wouldn't be a total pain for me to color (since it has lots of highlights, curves, and bends), but the black recolor didn't turn out as defined as I hoped. :( I actually like the brown version better. Anyway, you can copy/paste her expressions onto the black-haired one because I was way too lazy to re-express both the brown and black versions ^^"

Black-haired Isis, with original brown versions:

Enjoy! I think I may use her hairstyle again on someone else, I truly enjoyed coloring it ^-^

Also, added her to OP :)

Fantastic work. It was supposed to be dark brown instead of black so it's ok anyway. Thank you very much!!

More spriting, though I'm not as happy with this one as I was with the peachbun:

Little bouncing bread slice. Dunno why all my sprites so far have something to do with food XD And for some reason I just can't do humanoid sprites...only weird ones...

Update <3

Ariel (no not the redhead mermaid you're used to) is now included in the Laboratory :) She's very near and dear to my heart, however I think she looks a little more "farmgirl" than I would like =.=" You might've seen her disastrous concept sketch in Slenderman's Family, however I assure you that she's much better now ^-^

Say hello~

LfQBN55.png

I haven't added emosets or anything yet, but they'll be on their way. And just for fun, I did some wacko recolors XD

Xmas Version (though Christmas is over):

Blonde version:

Golden eyes (I was completely doing these at random...)

Evil version?

Enjoy! ^-^

I don't have emosets yet, however they will arrive sooner or later. ;)

Hey guys, I came for a couple opinions asking what you'd prefer...

This is Dawn, who you might have seen in my newest tutorial.

49Byhcg.png

Yeah, I did her eyes already. She has orange hair (more orange than mine, much more orange), however with so much hair...do you think I should work on the hair in layers? For example, a layer for frontal hair, a layer for the inner left section, a layer for the outer left strands, a layer for the right side, a layer for the back hair...or should I just do it on all one layer as usual? I honestly think the several-layers approach is neater, however with the amount of hair that she has in so many positions, it'll be hard to get the tresses perfectly trimmed in the right colors, blended on the same layers.

tl;dr: Should I use several layers for the hair, or just one?

So...yeah.

Also a note to all my requesters: I'm taking a break to work on Ariel characters. I have 36 pc's so please be patient. (However I'm not going to finish ALL of them before I pick requests back up.)

Also a super-special tankya to Jay Heartay for the caption he added to my banner in his sig: Red-haired princess Tsarmina's laboratory. <3 That's just so sweet, tankyaaa!

Don't really know much about this kind of thing but I'd go with layers, keeps it all organized and you won't have to start from the very beginning if you somehow mess it up. (Anything is possible)

Quite the cast you've built up, my imagination would probably die around the 18th character if it were me doing something like this.

Sorry Randy, I should've been clearer...I always work with layers: hair is one layer, eyes are another, skin is another, clothes are usually one or two more, plus various lineart layers--but right now I'm focusing on specifically the hair layer. Should I maker just one big hair layer, or, since there's so much hair, lots of smaller hair layers which will be easier to blend cleanly?

Hehe, it's kind of a weird story. But it's political, so there are a lot of contenders. XD

I see, I still think more layers would work better regardless - The more organized it all is the easier it is to work with, it is in fact just as simple as that in my mind so that's probably the only answer I'd give you really.

Good luck, whether you need it or not!

Makes sense :) I just have my doubts because I'd have to clean up each layer so it'd fit the outlines perfectly, no more no less, or the overlap would ruin the blending, therefore I have to do it that way, an overlay image would only limit my ability to highlight and shade, etc. I might just make it all just one layer and then mark highlights on a new layer and then...I guess I would set them on Multiply? Nah...

Anyone else? I want to take care of Dawn, so I'm tossing this out there before I get working. ^^"

I'm not actually requesting anything at the moment, but I'm curious as to whether you are willing to draw children and/or babies, aberrations (nagas, mermaids, centaurs) and aberrations that are also children and/or babies. I get a sneaking suspicion those are going to be very hard to find.

Tsar, I feel kind of rude asking this but..

How is Eunike coming along?

Don't feel bad. She's a very desirable person, I know :P Nah, sadly she hasn't gotten much farther at the moment, she's still in the process of being fully linearted (her hair is giving me nightmares), and I'm focusing a little more on Ariel now, soooo...yeah. She'll be a while still. :\

I can do children, babies are a little harder as I prefer my characters with enough hair ;), mermaids and centaurs and the like aren't much of a problem as long as they resemble humans. Oh, and smooth skin, not pitted, is greatly preferred ^-^", same with the last question. :)

I didn't mean quite that little when I said "baby", I was thinking toddlers, which have plenty of hair.

Also, when you say "tidbits", what do you mean? What are you looking for in tidbits? (Because I might end up coming back to actually request something in the coming months.)

Mm, okay. :) They might look slightly chibi-esque, but sure. It's easier for me to do younger than older ^-^

Tidbits is just anything else you feel like throwing in. They're not required or anything, but if you feel like adding in other stuff that you think might help me process your request successfully, then add in some tidbits. :) They're like cookie crumbs--they are good, but you have to give them in the right way/time so you don't get fat. ;) (Okay, so that was a bad analogy.)
