I have more pieces/gen parts/thingamabobs today. I'm working through a large Soramani set, so for all of these you have to credit both. ^-^" Sorry.

Thinking on it, these gen parts mixed with your own character heads would be great with MA's Composite Graphics or Victor's Visual Equip for outfit changes. XD

You know I've been using too many online resources when I can recognize specifically which characters you're taking these generator parts from haha.  I must have looked through every single portrait, face, and sprite that's on most of those Japanese sites like soramani.  Good work though, it's about time someone took the time to do this so we can have more diversified options.

I'm definitely not going to end up using all of them haha, but they're kinda useful. Especially since in my game I'm going to have outfit swaps for stat bonuses (like in Long Live the Queen, which I just recently played and epically failed at.)

I totally getcha! I might be looking at screenshots from some random game, and I'll be like, "Hey, that sprite's head is from tabino yadokari." or something, and then I'll be like, "..." when I realize what I just thought. I definitely use the sprites, not so much the faces/portraits/battlers because those are things that I like to do myself, but they do get recognizable after some time. ^^"

Heehee, I'm glad to hear it ^-^ I only use the sprites because I make my own stuff (obviously, or this lab wouldn't be here...), but I think sprites are a little less recognizable than portraits, so I felt okay using them. Kind of. XD

It's time for another one of those deep detailed synopsis of request and self-stuff handling! Yay!

 

Jeff: Xander hasn't changed since his last update. I'll probably scratch up some time this weekend. He's still in concept art, and I'll get the younger 10-year older version done first, as you requested.

 

Randy: The sample portrait hasn't gotten much anywhere yet. At this point I'm not entirely sure if you're still looking for him as I see you deleted the PM ^^" But ever since I read WBRUH's guide, I've been getting slightly more inspiration for drawing guys. Slightly.

 

Sughayyer: Lucy's still at concept, and the others haven't gotten anywhere yet. A lot of my work has been slowing down lately, so. I'll probably do a concept of Josh, too, but who knows with my ADD.

 

ZoroarX: that CG doesn't sound too hard, so I'll probably get a concept art up soon. Soon, of course, is subject to a whole bunch of fluctuating change, but I'll try. ^-^"

 

ozborn09: I am certainly getting there. Having the Ace reference made it pretty easy, too. ^-^

 

Otaku: (too lazy to add the hearts) All your characters will take a while. I barely started drafting, it's not even worth a concept art yet.

 

As for all my other stuff...the Ariel characters aren't really much farther. I've started coloring Elise but not much has progressed. Pip and Everett are also stagnant at this point. And as for the Black Star group snapshot, they'll have to be put on hold for a while. :'( There's just suddenly so much in life lately...I think. Oh, and there's ReStaff to think about also.

 

If I happened to randomly forget someone, I apologize and please tell the scientist (me) immediately~

More Soramani pieces. I feel I'm going a bit overboard with these, but whatev. XD

I've recently been removing the hair by hand instead of doing it to lazy autoselect/erase way, so the pieces are becoming cleaner now. (They might also require a bit more tampering to get all the colors filled in, though ^^")

 

Also ozborn09's title screen is at completed lineart stage! Don't wanna spoil it for anyone so I won't show it (in truth I was too lazy to upload it haha)

Tankya much, Wren ^-^ I've been trying to do a "daily resources" thing, which isn't always possible--but most days I get some resource up or at least an update. I feel a little guilty double posting so much though ^^" There's just so much to post!

Speaking of which:

 

Anyway, now that I've gotten a little bit more time on my hands, I'd like to tell all of you who are interested (probably not many...) a little more about Elise. (minus the funny Cecillia recolor. Someone should tell her about that haha)

 

Elise Noir is a character in Ariel. 

They're my only two characters completed in my soon-to-be gallery of at least 36 of the playable characters so far. As you can tell, Elise is slightly more petite than Ariel is--and yes, she's not fully Caucasian. There's a little bit of Asian descent mixed in her background. Elise is a witch genius, and she's often cold or even condescending towards others that she thinks aren't smart enough to be acquainted with her. She's highly skilled in all fields of magic, technology, science, and music--basically, an all-around prodigy. She also has a pet crow named Evelynecho who often acts like a parrot by repeating whatever Elise says. 

 

So yeah. She's a little...eccentric.

Hiyah! I've been making small projects for a few years now, and I finally decided to make a full project production. However I lack in artsy.. stuff, and figured instead of making everything on my own like I usually do, why not ask other people to help. Long introduction aside

I'd like to ask if you can help! Here's the details:

A title screen

1) If you've ever seen "To the moon's" intro, I want something like that, a star lit night sky, something to really show the player a vast universe right as they click the start button. Inspiration quotes aside...

2) The mood would be like what I said before, just something that shows the night sky how it really is, something special and majestic.

3) Games title would be: What do you see?   (seems very bland, but it's actually really special to the story)

4) I don't reaaally know what to say for that. Except Tidbits are delicious donuts! But if you'd like to know the story I can PM you. I just like keeping as much secret as possible.

Other then that hope you can help! Hope to hear from you.
