Slimes and Shrooms

Been a while since I posted anything... hm...

 

Anyways, I recently came across the Milano Cat battlers and was inspired.  And I needed the pixel practice anyway.

Hence, slimes and shrooms appear before you.

 

Opinions, comments?

ERMAGERD....that mushroom is SOOOOO CUTEEEEE!~

I'm sorry for screaming, but I just loooove cute, adorable things like turtles...or duckies...or snails or mushrooms or...well, you get the picture. They are almost TOO cute, heehee! 

Just one thing that makes me a little sad: on the little yellow slime, it's really hard to see his face. Maybe it's just the glare off my computer screen, but I can barely make out the eyes and the mouth is mostly invisible. Or maybe it's just my vision >.<"

Hehe thanks.  I love cute things too =D

 

As for the yellow slime, I couldn't get that shade I used for his face any brighter without it looking grayish.  X_X  It's a problem with contrast.

I see :\ That's such a shame, though. Maybe you could get by with "outlining" his eyes and mouth with a slightly darker shade of yellow? I get the feeling it won't turn out so well but everything's worth a try when it comes to adorable slimes.

I have decided I can no longer look at your mushrooms. They make me too excited and one of these days you are going to be the reason I get a cuteness heart attack
