'Route Move' help

So i have a variable event set up to where when the player has the required items, the character lights the fuse on a black powder keg. Is there a way to have the player's character 'route move' to a certain location once the fuse is lit. (as if getting out of the blast radius) and then having the event finish?

Put a "Set Move Route" command in the powder keg event that makes a player to move away.  Make sure that the move route is set for the player not an event.  It can be found on the top left corner of the "Set Move Route" window.
