I think everyone here would be more than happy to see it done, regardless of how long it takes.Besides that, maybe a collaboration wouldn't be such a bad idea? I mean, a file open to three coders would be the fastest way, wouldn't it? Giving each other notes, correcting redundant or buggy coding and even coding with whatever time someone can spare. Yeah it will have both of them, I started already, I prefer doing my own then trying to convert one >_>, Currently on my plans is, Open, Close, One, Direct, All and in-game rules(optional) Same, Plus, Combo I didn't really like Elemental, and I don't know if I should add wall rule also. Not that fast xD, anyway cards are put on a game variable, I will later do an Album Script, and then an Item can call that Album, and in there you can see the cards you have and things like that, probably set up your deck before, which I think its better, because it gets to be saved there. I need someone to convert the scripts from RGSS2 to RGSS3. Anyone interested? I was going to help convert :/, but converting big scripts like that are so so annoying, sorry a lot friend, thats why I started my own :/, you can still support as you like x). As I said, here is the let's say v0.4 It still lacks on some animations and on card flipping, which I hope I will do that tomorrow, and on Friday I'll try to be on the Artificial Intelligence part. Basically what is done is this, all the phases, except the end phase, most simple animations which its speed are totally configured by the maker, the positions of all cards and basically everything can be adjusted by the maker, so its easy to put this script on a 640x480 screen for example. first turn can be random or forced by the game maker, and any sugestions, you can say here x). Able to map the "challenge an NPC to a card battle" function to a button. 2. Able to run custom dialog for when an NPC is challenged. 3. Make it so that an NPC being challengable is tied to a tag, so that not all NPCs may be challenged. 4. Able to disable the minigame with a switch. So that if I don't want the player to be able to challenge NPCs until after a certain event, then the challenge button does nothing. 5. Store the total number of unique cards owned in a variable (I want this for an achievement script). 6. Enemy decks. Maybe have note tags in an NPCs note box that determine what cards that they hold. If possible, be able to specify rare cards that they only carry one of, and once you take it they never play it again. 7. About the deck, the idea is to have a saved 5 cards that have been used before, and optionally, you can always force a screen so that the player chooses the 5 cards before the triple triad, but I'm thinking changing a little bit, letting it also be decided outside of the card battle is a good option . 5 is already implemented, 6 is already implemented, you can choose which cards the npc has, and some that they will not get anymore, for example, an npc you configured him to have 5 cards, if I take 1, he will stay with 4 cards, then the script will randomize from the original 5 a new card to make his hand stay complete and exclude from randomization that specific card. 7. that is inside the 6 option, by loosing cards to a npc, his total cards increases and stays with that card. 1-3 Those are ones I'm thinking how to do, it's actually separated from the script, probably a different script. 4. I think is easy to be eventable, just put a normal switch to change the events condition to not call the script, so probably not done by the script from 1-3. I translated from Spanish to English. Now with less time on my hands I find it hard to actually make the time to complete this. Anyone that project looks good.
