Triple Triad


Introduction
This is the Triple Triad Script!, 
For those who never played, here is a big chance, it puts the card game in your project as a side mini-game, really addictive, and thanks a lot for square for the marvelous mini-game x).

Put it above main and configure the script as necessary

Card Settings,

 

And copy a card from there, changing the id and what is asked.

Images, check the Triple triad folder in Graphics, you can use my template that is on template folder if I zipped right, if not I'll send my templates to do card on, you will need any image editting program like Photoshop, Paint.net, and then put the numbers, the background, the image and save on the folder :P, it is pretty simples after you have done the first one.

I'll have to look into that then.

 

One more little request. Could you change it so that you can disable the rules pop up? In my game it will always be only Open and One. None of the other rules will ever be used so I don't need to show them.

I was thinking:

it's possible to dismantle this cards like in FF8?

I have "MrBubble" Dismantle Items, but I don't think that it's possible.

That is not implemented, maybe on a close future, but not too soon :/

 

I may have found an error. Even you lose card(s) the quantity that you had in the Card Album does not go down.

Sorry friend, I didn't understand xD, I have tested that, and I can't get the error :/

 

This script is amazing, but it needs ONE thing: a script call to add cards for users who don't want to use the shop option (or to be able to find cards in chests).

Yeah I forgot that sorry xD, but today I'll up a demo with all the nem implementations, you can use your old config, I have made a booster config to make booster packs and a card pop-up script, thats why cards have a rarity configuration not used still, and that point that you said xD, and the shop fixed.

 

Later today I'll put the demo on the topic, and then you trade the scripts in your project, excluding the settings script to not lose your work x).

I had five of one card and lost to the guy that takes all and when I went to the card album it said quantity 5

If I am not wrong, that happened because the album cards count the cards not in the hand, since you have the hand cards + the album cards, basically even losing all your hand cards, album cards will not go down, because they are like reserve cards.

Since I tested it and it is working fine here, well it looks like it is xD.

 

 

Hey friends, new demo, I have added some things,

 

some extra commands,

# gain_triad_card(id, num)

for gaining specific cards

# check_has_card(id, num)

for condition of having a specific card.

 

Also Pop-up card, for visual effect when getting new cards,

A booster pack system, so you can get cards by booster packs instead of winning only and other ways.

 

Some minor corrections with sprite positions and the laggy Album, also some major fixes on 

total cards and especific cards.

 

If you already put the old script on the game, no worries, I basically only changed

Triple Triad

Card Album

Card Shop

and added a new script, 

The only thing added on Setting script is the commentaries about gain_triad_card(id, num) and check_has_card(id, num), so no problem keeping everything you already had :), maybe a minor extra configuration for Card Album and Shop.

 

Also redid the demo to be more explainable, and well it is this :)

@DarthVollis: You got the new version right like 2 weeks ago :P

 

# check_has_card(id, num)

 

Use that to check if the player has a certain card :).

 

Conditions, Script:check_has_card(id, num)

 

id is the id :P, and num the numbers, with that you can make conditions.

I added to my project and when the card battle starts the arrow never stops spinning?

You added all the scripts :P? that doesn`t make any sense xD, I'm using in my own project and that bug never happened to me.
