Tsarmina 2,612 Posted January 14, 2014 That beach looks a tad empty, maybe you can add in some shells or seaweed? :
Skysagi 219 Posted January 14, 2014 (edited) Like Tsarmina said, the beach lots empty. About the city, it looks good, but that Big Tree graphic over there, in front of the house looks a little... I don't know, messed up? About the two other ones, they are a little too bright, and this hurts my eyes a little, but the cloud effect looks nice, but like, a little too bright? Maybe you can reduce it, but not much. Edited January 14, 2014 by ZoroarX
Spectre 829 Posted January 25, 2014 Platypus sprites look a little out of place as to the rest of the world. In fact, it's the only thing that's out of place. If you really want a "colorful XP graphic" game, whatever that is (I'll go for the benefit of doubt and assume brighter colors), I suggest you edit the backgrounds and/or the sprites to match the other. magic2345 252 Posted January 25, 2014 Dang, I forgot how awesome XP graphics are. The first and second screen looks kind of weird with the mountains and cliffs together, but you can just easily explain this using the story. For the third one, I'm actually fine with empty beaches, as long as they're not too open and vast, but a few seashells here and there wouldn't hurt . For the fourth one...those flowers look kind of weird lined up like that. Perhaps you can combine some into one tile to give the illusion of randomness. Also, like ZoroarX said, the tree in front of the house is messed up, probably something to do with the XP to VXA conversion.
