Thaletos 96 Posted June 16, 2016 Ok, this is "The Rite of Spring". Probably you'll recognize the music, since it appeared in Disney's Fantasia. It's a ballet, and it tells the performance of an ancient pagan rite in Russia. In this rite, the most beautiful woman of the tribe was sacrified in order to Spring to come. But the sacrifice must be done by her dancing to death. It's really worth seeing the video, for the choreography. In fact, on it's opening night, the audience ended fighting themselves.
