Spectre 829 Posted April 20, 2014 Friend and I were reminiscing the good old '90s and we chanced upon a few classy songs for fun. While we're at it, though, anyone remembers this little number?

AJNR 156 Posted April 20, 2014 (edited) Nirvana and Pearl Jam, yes. Nirvana is the answer to the stupid lovey-dovey garbage my cousin listens to. (It's not even that I don't like songs involving love, Sade is my all time favorite R&B Singer, but my cousin's music is just garbage). Spectre 829 Posted April 21, 2014 That actually sounds pretty damn awesome. A little something I've got from our dear Irish friends. Fair warning; for those that haven't tuned in to her before, her voice is a bit of an acquired taste.
seriouscat 347 Posted April 21, 2014 That's my favorite Cranberries song ever! (・ω・) Here's a beautiful piano piece:
AJNR 156 Posted April 21, 2014 I actually really like "Zombie" by The Cranberries. I also have this weird obligation to post something relative to the genre of the prior post

Tsarmina 2,612 Posted April 21, 2014 @Cirus: AHHHH YIRUMAAAAAA~ ----- Hmm. I couldn't find the actual recording of the Turtle Island string quartet playing this, so I had to settle for a performance.

When Bugs Roam Ur House 656 Posted April 22, 2014 @Cirus: I've never heard of her, but i will have to look her name up. Too bad Cantopop is half-dead though.. I'm going to post "Hey Ya" by Outkast oh gawd. Definitely one of my favourite songs... : D I wonder if anyone remembers it. I can't believe it's 11 years old.
Cecillia 652 Posted April 22, 2014 @WBRUH That song is a classic. I can't believe it's been 11 years O_O, which reminds me of how long I have been a Sound Horizon Fan. I've been listening to them for 8 years and this was the first song I heard from them.

Spectre 829 Posted April 24, 2014 Here's one of my favorite mandopop artists! Hebe Tien! I remember listening to Hebe and S.H.E. when I was a young Chinese boy. Never quite liked it, but hey, it was in at that time. This one's an acquired taste. But oh so good.
AJNR 156 Posted April 24, 2014 This one's an acquired taste. But oh so good. The freakin' XXs are incredible, their first album anyway. The second album is plain boring, I'm pretty sure it has to do with Baria Qureshi being kicked off after the first album - she was the probably responsible for the rhythm and beats for the majority of the XX album. Here's some Gorillaz, because apparently there's a cover of the XX's Crystalized sung by the Gorillaz' singer.
TheoAllen 830 Posted April 24, 2014 I'm addicted to this music right now http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcZqPZXxxLc I downloaded it this morning

Here's some Gorillaz, because apparently there's a cover of the XX's Crystalized sung by the Gorillaz' singer. I actually wasn't fond of the Gorillaz' cover of Crystallized. It didn't quite have the same rhythm and feel to it. The whole Baria Qureshi drama sort of dropped The XX to my B-list, but hey. They were good. I'll give them some credit for that. Also, meet my idol. In case you're wondering, it's all done with a guitar.
