A few characters from my Orion X game remake.

EDIT:

I redid Orion using a manga studio 5 template

This is what he looks like now. I guess you can say the concept is based Louie Marshurn from Princess General.  So credit to the game Princess General for the concept if it looks like him.

This is the template I used credit to Smith Micro's manga studio 5

I really like the designs, it makes each of the characters look interesting. Ninian is my favourite out of all of them.

As for touch ups (small edits/fixes, I'd assume), I find the shoulders are a little bit too large for most of them (Alena is the most evident here).

Thank you. I honestly think the shoulders look fine to me.  However I have a very hard time with female shoulders. I am not sure if this counts but the characters are suppose to be muscular in the shoulder area especially the men.  I don't like drawing people super skinny to be honest or super small. Any you think you for your feedback.

I like the way you color the hair! :) I think Alena's shoulders are fine--but it's all preference, of course. It also depends on her age.

The anatomy in my opinion could be a fixed a bit, such as less broad shoulders, but it all depends on your style and the character's ages. Also, I've been noticing a lot of your males have the same exact earring. A bit of diversity is suggested.

A lot of your images are similar to anime images I find off google. I suggest giving proper credits to the bases you have been using just to be polite to the original artist. The artist used here is Usuba Kagerou.

I'm not trying to hunt people down/etc for tracing or mind it at all (people on rpg maker do it all the time. We all have to start somewhere), but I feel like it would be great practice if you didn't copy line for line.

Thank you for pointing that out, but that actually wasn't the image that I used.  I didn't even know it was similar to something some one else did.  I used a manga studio template for the battle and drew the pose I saw. Any way thank you for pointing out the shoulders. Why does everything I think of like look like some one else's stuff. That kind of bothers me.

Insane has shine on both sides instead of shine on one side and shadow on the other. I might take the shine level down to a more redish tone from pure white. He's wearing a plastic coat, but even they don't shine that much.

As for the copying thing, don't let that bug or stop you. The greats do things a certain way because it works. If you are doing it the same way, then what you are doing works. There are only so many ways of doing things, so everyone is bound to step on someone else's work a little bit.

I understand you're being supportive, but you shouldn't "step on other people's work" in any way shape or form, whether it is just a complete coincidence that they look the same or similar does not mean that copying without credits should be allowed.

Copying, and not referencing who you copied, even if it's just as a reference rather than a base is wrong and unfair on someone who has worked damn hard, and also in the case of the above images. You've gotta look at it from a commercial developers POV that is basically a free version of their work, and someone could basically trace and copy the developers work and state that it is "purely coincidental"

I am not stating that this is what RoseGuardian has done. however, it has to be mentioned that copying isn't something that should be done on this site. Due to copyright laws.

Removed Maximillion's face.  All  was really trying t do was make the face graphic's outfit match the character set but it's obvious no one believes me.  Now I have to redo is outfit and I really liked it.

EDIT: If these other characters look like some one else could some one let me know please if I did it by accident this time so that I can credit the original author?

All you have to do is give credits to the images you traced. It's as simple as that. You don't have to keep this charade up of "I don't know. I did it on accident."

You don't accidently trace or accidently copy an anime character.

Just close the post. I don't know where they're from they were just a pack of small faces I got from 66RPG.  I copied the faces but not the bodies I used the templates for them.  Just close this post.

Thankyou. that's all that was asked of you, now all you gotta do is add in 66RPG if that is where it is from then just add them into your credits, and don't claim they are you own, and it's all sorted :)

I know the problem is I know they were from 6RPG but I don't know what game to be honest.

Sorry for the double post just wanted to let everyone know I redid one of the face graphics and gave proper credit this time. The only thing I don't know is what game the guy I used the color palette of is from. If anyone knows please let me know so I can give proper credit for the color palette,

That character's name is Louie Marshrun and he's from the game Princess General. I think 66RPG uses copyrighted images. Also, don't worry about color palettes XD They aren't copyright. If you want to make a black and red character go ahead. If you want to make a blue and black character go ahead. It's all about the concept in my opinion and overall design!
