+ Brackev 66 Posted April 30, 2014 You really should have 3 screens to post a new topic... They look too neon green. Consider adjusting the flowers on the top of the Ogre screen so that they are mirror images of each other. Otherwise they look ok.
Tsarmina 2,612 Posted April 30, 2014 Yes, you'll need at least 3 screenies. You can either add another one or I can close this and you can post these in the Screenshot Critique thread. Also agree on the overdone lighting effects. Use sparingly and it can make a much larger difference Also, those rows of white flowers are so neatly attended to, even though there's an ogre there? (Unless his passion is botany.) Also, people have missed this before--those red flower bunches are actually the tops of the pillars in Mack's set. If you look at the bottoms, you can see a bit of pillar

I will look at it tomorrow but what the problem of making it green in your point of view?
Tsarmina 2,612 Posted April 30, 2014 I'm going to offer my opinion on this one The lighting effects are really strong. It's not so much that it's green, but that the light makes it appear blindingly green. The sun usually don't shine that bright, especially on...grass. Eviei 3 Posted May 12, 2014 (edited) UPDATED Shots : And here is the Kingdom shots : Edited May 12, 2014 by Eviei
+ Brackev 66 Posted May 12, 2014 Thanks for upping the number of screenshots! You have a number of windows right on the edge of buildings. They need to be moved in a square so they don't cover up the edgeing of the buildings. I love the kids playing skiprope and the rabbit. There are green blotches in a number of places in the daytime shots, the splotches could use a little more texture to them so they don't stand out so much.

Maybe I will post new screen shots by then for you to judge.
Tsarmina 2,612 Posted May 13, 2014 Those river running stream/strait things are a little awkward, especially considering that they're ringed by what I think is sand. This creates a cutoff. I don't think this is a big thing but it's always nice to find something that matches ^-^
Euphoria 147 Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) What Tsarmina said, but it's especially noticeable on the diagonally placed tiles. Also I noticed you placed trees before the flowers so that there are no flowers under the trees, this looks really weird since it's all flowers and missing spots under the trees. + Myst88 87 Posted May 13, 2014 I really like the lighting effect in the last few. The flowers though (The small white ones sitting on the flowers) look too deliberately placed. In nature plants grow randomly so I would spread them around a bit more.

But now that you all mentioned that I will ;look into those issues More shots coming soon and possible demo at thursday. Edited May 13, 2014 by Eviei

But now that you all mentioned that I will ;look into those issues More shots coming soon and possible demo at thursday. Games will never be real life so you don't need to make them completely realistic, but sometimes those little details can make all the difference. Looking forward to the demo, your game seems quite interesting.
