Alufey 16 Posted March 11, 2015 Cheesecake + face = me human jelly balloon. Sooooo much good. Anyhoo, your samurai is brilliant because the form is great, there is more depth in the strokes. It clearly wasn't done with a whole sense of purpose, but the whim-ness made it to where you dropped what ever technical sense you have. You just went with it. Art is much more beautiful that way. Pablo Picaso made REALLY weird stuff, why is it good? Because it has a lot of whimy-ness to it, but then it also has technical value. The color contrast is also very nice. I'm not a good reader. Not sure why. Oh, and ice-cream cake. I hope I never get a sweet tooth when I'm older... Wow, nice insight into that, madam~ I did pretty much just go for it and see what I could do with the brushes. If I'm ever in such a random mood again maybe something like that will pop out of me again I've always been fascinated by history and art history. All the famous artists died in poverty, never being appreciated until they died (or someone too advantage of the fact) and made their work famous. Picasso is an exception, but how art is perceived and greatly ignored now saddens me. We've become so distracted by "go, go, go!" and tech that we forget how we even came to the point we have, and that goes for media art. Haha, a lot of people have that problem. If you made it through Harry Potter, you can make it through Vampire Chronicles, just take your time. That's a problem if you have OCD about reading like me. Tom Cruise's Lestat....if I my love for the female dwindle and my gay tendencies stronger...no, nevermind. He was handsome though, and so was Armand (although he was supposed to be a young teen). Couldn't have the weird pedophilia moments like the books had, so understandable. Edited March 11, 2015 by BluMiu
Alufey 16 Posted March 11, 2015 Chocolate cheesecake, cheesecake with fruit on top... plain cheesecake. Tiramisu cake. Um, yum. People in general have short attention spans, Technology only exasperates the symptoms. However its still ever possible to succeed. Today more than ever before its likely to take your art somewhere, and not only that but you can actually put food on the table. Easy access to materials is also a super bonus. Even if a large amount of people can't bother to care, there's still some who do. That is what I feel matters. If you can appreciate art, learn from it, then its not a waste. Media art isn't a good example of what most people look up to. A lot of people have no idea what they're looking at anyway. That part isn't really new either. You can sell garbage to people if you pitch it the right way. Tom Cruise probably tells himself the same thing. >.< Ah no worries. I think it's something you consistently draw in all of your pictures, and the heavy lining around the eyes really makes them pop (especially since you use lighter colors for the irises). I will read more of the series eventually. What is it about cheesecake? Is it the cake or the cream cheese or whatever that is. My brother likes it, but as close as I get to liking it is ice-cream flavour. I'd agree our attention span isn't that great in the first place unless honed to be, but I'd definitely agree that technology has nearly killed it from my experience with a good number of people. Nothing is truly wrong with digital art, but the traditional forms have suffered because of it. Museums survive on donations and they practically own them (if a single individual). The only people that become painters or sculptors are those that truly love what they do, even if they become a starving artist for it That does matter, but fallen out of favour because it is not accessible from a computer. One's success depends on what they are going into. What's big in the West is not in the East, and vice-versa. Though manga and anime seems really popular here, there is no real market for it nor anyone pushing it. Likely because it is Japanese, so we created Western Anime (Avatar, LoK, Teen Titans), but still no where as culturally huge as anime in Japan. The best way those that love it over here to open that kind of door is to do so themselves, though the original will likely still be preferred. A sad realization for myself, but I'll still do what I can and try for concept artist. Oops. Not 'media art' itself, but I mean art media like 3D/animation. I hope no one buys garbage because of a silver tongue, haha! People aren't stupid (mostly, I think) just shallow to varied degrees. Only people that consider themselves art connoisseurs go to that extent, but as far as the new art trends compared to old, doors will always open while others close. Even the classical artists started movements that lead to something different while the trend before diminished. I'm sure he does, or the aliens He played the role very well, which is what I liked most about it. The guy from Queen of the Damned killed it. Never watched it because it was loosely adapted, but my brother told me about it. I think I'm more attracted to anything resembling a woman, so pretty men go into that equation. I realize Mana-sama is not a woman underneath his clothes, lol! Pans like cookware? Well, there are people with odd fetishes... Haha, I think he was another favourite in the movie, though what's funny is he seemed Spanish (which worked for the movie), but he was supposed to be Russian/Slovich. Ah, movies~ O_O I had no idea he sang in that. That is amazing as i did not know he sang actually Thank you for the tidbit of discovery. Somehow I missed it when I was looking for a possible new version last year. Not surprised there's no English version/patch just yet, but I'm sure it will be coming along after official release. I was looking to see if SAI had other tools floating around out there and watched one tutorial where an artist was using a grid tool. Sadly, I remember being disappointed when I realized he was using Phtotoshop T_T Bing cannot differ PS from SAI, apparently. I practiced a lot to get where I am, but the prospect of going further is...troubling, haha! It might not be that bad, I've practiced before in perspective and came out well, it is just it never clicks right away compared to other techniques. As you can tell, I try and avoid being technical as often as I can ^^ Yeah, I'll give it a try considering I want to try bolder poses with depth aside given in shading. I had to self-model and look up accurate position for the hands to look believable in holding the objects. Seeing in my head and putting to paper is hard when it comes to that for me. Under Night Light has a very soft look to it, so that could be part of it. I was studying Ayami Kojima's artwork on how she went about things and lighting. Spectre 829 Posted March 12, 2015 Where the heck is it? I can never find my way around Photoshop, so pardon my having no clue XP View > Show > Grid or Ctrl + ', I believe. Though, I may be wrong since I'm using CS 5.1. I practiced a lot to get where I am, but the prospect of going further is...troubling, haha! Well, your hands have a very nice (if not, bony) finish to them, and I think it lends well to your predominantly gothic style. Perspective isn't too hard when your hands are alright to begin with, and admittedly you have pretty good references. :3 If you're still interested in another, I can recommend Natalie Shau (Tsar, yes, I recommended this to you before). She combines gothic with a porcelain doll quality, and while the proportions seem slightly uncanny it gives off a very polished vibe. Admittedly, her level of digital art precision is way out of our reach, but I've picked up quite a few shading techniques from her myself. What is it about cheesecake? Is it the cake or the cream cheese or whatever that is. My brother likes it, but as close as I get to liking it is ice-cream flavour. Funny you guys should mention cheesecake so much. I always liked the harder, brittler cheese varieties over cream cheese, so I'm afraid I'm out for cheesecake. I do make a mean feta and arugula salad, though.

BluMiu 128 Posted March 12, 2015 (edited) Thanks, Spectre! I probably just need to sit down to one of Photoshops tutorials to learn where things are ^^; You'd be surprised how quickly things can go wrong when it comes to my drawing hands. I looked her up for a bit last night and will look at more later; I like her style and indeed is far more proficient with the digital works, though Bugs is about as good with the painting; the difference to me is Bugs looks more traditional while Natalie's you can tell it's digital. What about shortcake? No fans of that? Cheese is very interesting in itself in the many processes you can make it I'd love to try the cheese's exclusive to Italy~ The closest I've had are the imported one's (expensive), but will eventually try this one imported goods store I've yet to peruse. I liked the Lords of Shadow artist for his take on the rebooted series, but I personally think it would have been better if her work was still part of it. The Western audience didn't like the "girly men" she drew and wanted grizzly, bear-chested men instead, lol! Don't ask me XP I think I've gotten used to it too, but still don't like the texture and as you said, that weird feeling over "too much" when eating it. Going to start doing daily sketches since full works will take longer because of work getting in the way. Drew this early in the morning... Alufey 16 Posted March 13, 2015 Cheesecake has a rich texture. Smooth cake portion + graham cracker bottom stuff = win. All this talk about Italy , and ice cream, makes me wonder what I've missed in terms of gelato. Also makes me wanna say PAAASSSSTAAA. Ain't a thing wrong with strawberry shortcake neither. That stuff is delicious. Frozen yogurt too. The sculptor is indeed going to have major competition as the 3D printer becomes more accessible ( I think). Windows 10 will be the beginning of the end, if they don't screw it up. Which is possible, cause its Microsoft and they did make Vista. As you said, times change, art changes too. The audience part is also key. If you can find a market, you can sell it. You can even make the market, if you have big enough gull and know how to invest, and have a heart big enough to gamble with. In the terms of anime, its like a huge culture experiment ping ponging from side to side. Mickey Mouse turns to Astro Boy, Kenshin turns into Samurai Jack ( this isn't a direct correlation by the way! ) , and then we get in between stuff. If Mark Crilley can go as far as he has, I think there's then just limits we set for ourselves. You can accept the limits , but hell Disney and Square Enix have a love affair going on. Marvel joined in. Its just one big world. The biggest success is granted to those who have vision , and confidence. Like Stan Lee. Or Walt Disney. Cartoons were never meant to be for kids. Let alone become big frickin animated films. Take a fraction of that, and someone can make it. Not everyone needs to make it, or become successful. As long as what they did they found worth it. It is sad that appreciation can be very little, that's why its sooooo important to be happy with yourself as is. People however intelligent they are, will ruin your soul if they're allowed to. Appreciate yourself. Your work too. Then let the rest fall into place. I like aliens too. Not in that way. As far as I know. >.> Robots, maybe? jk xD Oooo~ Queen of The Damned, I can honestly say Aaliyah was da bomb. She was a very good looking lady. I also think Mana is attractive with make up on. I can't say it matters too much to me whats going on in someones pants. But I still find male bits funny cause I'm immature. xD There's occasionally even male part drawings on my brother's door,... just cause. In my defense though he draws them all the time on my car. Pansexual is liking someone without caring about gender stuff, I think. I always like to imagine it as literal pans though. I want to ask them do you like the frying pan better or the sauce pan?

If you ever have the chance to, swap out Parmesan for Pecorino. It's readily available in most supermarkets (if it's here in Asia, hot damn you won't have a problem finding it), and it has a sharper and stronger taste. Also good in pastas, especially carbonara. Apart from that, I was surprisingly pleased by Maasdam and Roquefort. Brie is for casuals, but sometimes I have it on my crackers as a guilty pleasure. Oh, and I'm not too big of a fan of shortcake. Or cake in general. I'm more into savory than sweet (ladies, take notes!). Now on to work though: Really love the attention to facial structure and detail on the character design, especially the eyes. For the jaws you may want to raise the jawline a little; although you have a very nicely defined shape the length from the lower lip to the chin makes it look like he's pouting. Unless, you know, that's what you intended, and you like to draw pouty people, in which case, shame on you. XD Armor looks pretty good, though. I like how the pseudo-embroidered look gives off a sense of nobility while retaining practicality through relatively simplistic plating. The stacking of the plating looks vaguely like a spinal column, further cementing a darker element - you could accentuate this with more jagged protrusions, as if you're actually drawing a spine. An authentic gelato would be nice. Store bought ones suck T_T Mmm. Pasta, especially Manicotti~ Okay, enough about food, lol! Ooh, that thing I saw a commercial for. That was a 3D printer hologram thing? That is just...weird, but I guess it will be useful? Well, EI is going to be scrapped for Project Spartan, so who knows how this venture will go for Microsoft, haha! It might turn out okay if they are doing something this innovative/creative. The target audience...I can't help it, so I will say it. My pessimism be bore for all to see XP If it is the young audience, they don't have to try too hard because they are near brain-dead. As Albert Einstein said, "I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots." Indeed. Stan Lee I can believe, though something shady went on with him giving the rights of his characters away. I would never sell my ideas like that, but hey. And Walt Disney...sorded past with that one, but he did fulfill the expectations of Hollywood by reintroducing Christian morals back into cinema like the execs asked of him. Don't get me wrong, they weren't trying to be virtuous, just their profits were slipping because of the movies being put out and they needed a new face and talent that he provided. Samurai Jack~ Such a shame that show never finished...loved it almost like anime, that I did. I will say nothing on the SquareEnix-Disney thing. Especially with Marvel thrown in. A raging fire inside, lol! Seriously, Kingdom Hearts is going to be a mass of confusion if they throw Marvel in there by the next one, and you already know Frozen is going to take over the game. I barely recall any Square characters actually having as vital a part as Disney, besides the original characters created for the game. Wait, aliens and robots? What are we talking about? Haha! She might have been the only thing that had the movie sold, and shockingly they picked someone like her for that role. Darn right he's sexy with make-up on I wonder if your parents shake their heads when they see random penis drawings everywhere XD Okay, I thought maybe that is what you meant but literal frying pans came to mind. It's just another random term created for whatever whimsical though someone believed needed defining. Labels are on everything and we fail to consider the fact we are putting words to the intangible and at times the unnecessary. What about shortcake? No fans of that? Cheese is very interesting in itself in the many processes you can make it I'd love to try the cheese's exclusive to Italy~ The closest I've had are the imported one's (expensive), but will eventually try this one imported goods store I've yet to peruse. Never heard of Pecorino. I'll have to check that out. You are a dandy lad, good sir~ I haven't come across Maasdam or the other before, I don't think. I really have to see if that import store has anything like that (and cooking things I need). Now that I had every other day off but Sunday-Monday, I think I can take a peek. Raise the jawline? Hmm. Do you think that would look better? I can see it slightly, so I'll edit and see how it looks. The first time I read you saying he look pouty, all I could see is this guy walking around with those scrunched up lips you see in exaggerated anime faces XD It wasn't intentional, but I might have curved in too much. Thanks, I didn't want to overdo it since it isn't his knight armour so something simpler but still of similar quality seemed right. I might have had that Dullahan Knight from Vagrant Story in mind because it seems very similar. Well, since I've been off, I've drawn two new things. One is another concept for Magnolia DiBesto (Rema's mother) and the other is a value study since I'm trying to do that sort of thing more often. Magnolia concept Value study (with Dusk)
Alufey 16 Posted March 19, 2015 I live in an apartment so the penis drawings are safe. The little brother however comes over, he sees them and texts the pics to his friends. Creeper child he is. To get the greatest revenge I just put I <3 MLP on my brother's car, and point an arrow to the driver's seat. My parents would probably be more disturbed by MLP than penises anyway. They grew up in the 60s. There was a lot of nudity, and a lot of drugs, which meant more nudity. Now my sister on the other hand, would probably be upset, and I might get slapped. I'm not drawing penises on her car ever. Or I will die. Now for the real convo!!! I'm ecstatic about the new hologram tech 'cause I want gaming to become much more of a reality. I also like the thought of being able to see Mars, and not have to be the guinea pig/ pilgrim and go there. What we can see and do will be so much more than ever before. That's a whole lot of amazing. Now the question is what will happen to the imagination of mankind? I do think that Einstein was wrong on that. All generations are bountiful with idiocy. There are problems that come from a heavy reliance on technology. It will surpass us, for the fact that we generally do have a hard time compromising. Not that idiots aren't scary. But computers will be better than us. The technology will surpass our intelligence even a genius'. The only thing at that point that gives us an advantage is creativity and imagination. These days I'd argue that the world is much more open in a social way. People bleed all over the internet to one another, from feelings, to topics like this. All people from around the globe are interacting. So ignorance and stupidity are much more a choice. The threat however, is that technology such as the internet can be disabled, and it can be censored. Greed is a big threat, along with hostile feelings. Will we die because our feelings will get in the way? Everyone has a finger etching toward the trigger. I'd say Kurt Vonnegut had good instinct when it came to the whole issue of media. Its power is great, and greatly misused. The ability to pacify so many is ponderous. And that has only gotten worse with advanced tech. The liberty is the ability to do research. Labels make things tedious. I'd agree that a lot of things are way more abstract than a single word can justify. And PFFT robots be sexy. Astromechs all day. If it was possible I'd want Mana to do my hair. Its been a beeoch and a half tryin' to survive without hair dye. Being a brunette 24/7 isn't fun. And I realized that Mana not only has fantabulous makeup on, but his hair is CRAZY beautiful too.

And I realized that Mana not only has fantabulous makeup on, but his hair is CRAZY beautiful too. I was so confused if you meant a actual little brother or one just a few years younger, haha! "Does she meant toy car or a real car?" o_O Yes, avoid pranking your sister if violent discipline is her response ^^ I think it would be interesting, but I'm not sure how far the concept will go. It sounds really neat if gaming is involved, but people generally like to relax when gaming, not interact; we saw how long the WiiMote lasted, though it had a good run. There is also holographic games can only be successful with certain genre of games while it would not translate well to other types. First-person will be great while RPGs and others will not so much. Not sure if Occulus Rift is consider the same because it is VR, but I never trust anything I have to stick on my head and become immersed in, not even music that has "those" algorithms. If Microsoft is kicking things off, we'll see who else follows suit and does something new with it. I honestly don't think we'll be going to Mars anytime soon. Until we manage to stop shuttles from exploding from here on Earth, it will be less likely a successful launch from a space station beyond our orbit; we still haven't built a moon base, so I have no idea why Obama is even thinking about Mars. It reminds me of the Chapelle Show skit where he is making fun of Obama distracting Americans from problems at home with talk of space travel...to Mars. It was so spot on and accurate that I had to laugh. 1) Because it was funny and believable 2) Because Obama did the exact same thing Chapelle predicted he'd do. I hate being an evil pessimist, but traveling to space and other planets doesn't change the fact that we take the #1 problem we are trying to escape from: ourselves. A machine can only be as smart as the people that created it. An AI can surpass our intelligence, but it can never exceed the programming it is given; reality is quite different than what we see in the movies. The brain is a super computer that is vastly untapped, beyond anything we have created with steel and wiring. It is an replica of our own brains to an extent and can't go beyond what we are familiar with or design the intentions to be. Creating god is a frightening concept on its own, but one that is impossible because in order for anything to be "god" like, it has to go beyond our limitations and what we know. Also, creating something that contemplates its own existence is impossible except through reproduction; i have no idea where to start with that train of thought, lol (many anime come to mind ) I think what Einstein meant was that interpersonal communication would be sacrificed for easy-access routes through chats and texting. Many comment on how young people, even many my age don't know how to talk to people except through a phone. It might be more our method of using technology surpassed our ability to properly handle it. Global connection creates that hive-mind effect, but people become disconnected in a personal, face-to-face way. Ignorance and stupidity is a popular choice, lol! Hiding behind a screen and acquiring that Hercules syndrome enables a mindset that can't be offered in interpersonal communication. We are allowed to be whoever we want, live another life and reach people we normally aren't able (for better or worse). I think the internet has already reached the censoring stage with the FCC bill passing. We had meetings with China's head of internet censorship months before that whole thing took place, though not many people look that much into things. And yeah, greed is the primary culprit; allowing access to only what particular groups want leads to a narrowed market of choice. I guess we'll see how far the internet's frontier of freedom is allowed to continue. Hmm. Emotions lead to irrational choices and emotions are being promoted as what should guide our lives, so...depends on who your asking Emotions can destroy us in a variety of ways, looking at history as a reference, so they can destroy us to a degree; like you said, it is a choice whether we live by them or not. It is easier for a strong man to conquer a city than for that strong man to conquer himself. Vonnegut (his name sounds familiar) had it spot-on. However, the media was specifically created to control. At least, that is what the man that created the television said himself. People can use it for good despite the intentions, but it truly has had a negative effect on society at large. I'd hate to say it, but social engineering is not just good for war, but for domestic use as well, though tactics of war have always been used this way, sadly. The airways are owned, so an average person just can't open their own line of communication and inform others of what they feel is important and not being said; that kind of goes along the lines of liberty of research. There is said to be a strong hold over technology and science that no new ideas can be introduced if it contradicts the popular belief. It has always somewhat been that way in the scientific community, but never as it has grown to with the funding of corporations and government influencing which direction research should go. I wish it was like it used to be when it was curiosity and discovery being the primary interest and not greed and political agendas. What is an astromech???.............Nevermind. You seriously went there T_T R2D2 is sexy? lol! XD Oh, that spherical shape and domed top just...Oh, so do it for me~ He beeps rapidly when excited. You might have to ask his hair stylist to do your hair, but I'm sure he does his own makeup, or half of it from what I've seen. Hey, brunettes not that bad unless you are just used to having it different colours. That could look a tad dull Not sure if getting older has thinned his hair slightly, but he hasn't grown it out like he used to. Not complaining because he still looks hot in his man clothes. Haven't heard much from Moi dix Mois since the incident with K, but I don't expect them to jump back so soon. Okay bambinas, I'd like to post these in another reply but I want to avoid a double-post. Haven't been up to much aside from hibernating when not working and writing *cough*buying games and clothes*cough*, but here are a few. Went back and fixed the lighting/face with this one... Drew this one on a whim as I haven't drawn Requiem's character in awhile. The far left turned out okayish, though I think features might be pushed to far to the right. New Dusk portrait (with bio) Born to a Surlvhalian aristocrat and his maidservant, Ira immediately fled in his mother's arms days after he was born; a father he had never known sending mercenaries to kill them for political reasons and war between Surlvhal and Resila. Dinah was unable to take back Mat'teniah, her oldest son, before fleeing back to her tribe of Adjura. By the age of five, Ira and Dinah were forced to flee again when the war made its way to them. They were forced to separate from her family when the mercenaries came for them amongst the Surlvhalian troops. Fleeing west into Keldrian territory for the next four years, they sought refuge in Isalme and end their journey when Dinah contracted Breahs. A kindly well-to-do farmer took them in, but sheltered them in the barnhouse because of the contagious disease. Ira befriended Mila Mulkivitch, the farmer's adopted daughter and she began to teach him their language. Scarcely a year had passed when their assassins found them out and set fire to the Mulvitich home, killing the farmer and his sons. Mila took shelter ira and Dinah, but that too was set ablaze. Bedridden, Dinah gave Ira a desperate choice in order to save his life, the boy not wanting to leave her. In the end, Ira and Mila fled before a band of Isalmian soldiers led by Transient Knight Rema Merloci rescued them. The next chapter in Ira's life was as her adopted son by the name of Dusk Merloci. Grateful to her for what she had done, he kept his emotions distant, Mila being the closest to them. Taking time to adjust to the strangely assorted family, his sense of loyalty led him to train under Rema and do the same for others that had been done for him. Joining Isalme military to fulfill this oath did little to qualm the shadows forming within. Before being accepted into Ematus Sercia's order, Dusk trained in the cursed forest of A Piedi del Morto, where he encountered the Daemon Wolf, Heraphent. Unable to overcome it nor withhold the enmity it sought to exploit, Dusk was possessed, found hours later by Rema and Miriam. Dusk never revealed what happened, but Miriam's own past experience and ability to sense the abyss led her to conclude what took place. It would not be until Ez'eliazar Catacombs where he faced Asad of the Hasheek Tabalket that Alastor/Heraphent made himself known to Dusk. Before confronting the rest of the Transients at Ematus Sercia HQ for their involvment with Surlvhal's plot against the king, Dusk took the glyph meant for him, the Eye of Abaron; it's uncertain if this was of his own will or influence of Alastor. Despite his struggle against the demon and aiding Rema in uncovering a dark plot, Dusk continues to fall into disenchantment with the world with the evil he sees, edged on by the evil spirit. Before he is consumed, will he face what he considers his greatest sin that he could never forgive himself for as a boy? And finally went back on the Miriam/Viktoria base model (for drawing different outfit concepts) and drew Viktoria this time. Viktoria's persona was created during the ritual abuse at the hands of her elderfather, Stromber Gavrielle. Because she suffered in the place of Miriam, Viktoria holds ill feelings towards her, but at the same time is protective over their person. Assertive, aggressive, paranoid, outspoken and highly sexual are parallel traits from that of Miriam. Not just this, Viktoria more identifies with her male sex in seperating from the part of her deemed as weak, dominating men while favouring females. Though her character was shaped pain and hopelessness, Viktoria took the strengths Miriam was without; namely being far more skilled in the magik artes. Viktoria was active early on in Miriam's younger years, primarily the time they were fleeing from the Penumbra Hunts when forced to live in the wilds. Otherwise, she was back and forth with her host personality when it came to relationships. Viktoria is able to sense "Aggie" the demonic spirit that acts as another personality due to Stromber's intentions and is also aware of Miriam's dream-state encounter's with the man that appears to her. BluMiu 128 Posted March 3, 2017 (edited) I suppose I should pick up where I left off, if possible. Took me a little to remember I had an account here with the face lift its gotten since abrupt absence, though I might want to take care of some WIPs I left behind ^^ Under Night Light By the Veranda (formerly Reading by Moonlight) Oath of Blood I think that takes care of where I left off for the most part. Let's see if I can remember chronologically as well, though I'd prefer to just post newbies...we'll see~ Dusk's 2nd portrait turned out much better than the last, as well as other character portraits from LC Pt.1 and Innocenza. *bio update* Full Name- Dusk Merloci Alias (s) - Ira of Adjura Date of Birth- Alti3/12/96 SE Age- 18 Eyes- Grey Hair- Black Height- 5'10'' (177.8 cm) Weight- 161 lbs Sex- Male Nationality- Surlvhalian Occupation- Isalmian soldier; Ematus Sercia knight initiate Interests- History, war strategy, theology, linguistics, herbology Hobby (s)- Training, reading, nature walks Born to a Surlvhalian aristocrat and his maidservant, Ira immediately fled in his mother's arms days after he was born; a father he had never known sending mercenaries to kill them for political reasons and war between Surlvhal and Resila. BluMiu 128 Posted March 4, 2017 Lost Children Illustration A Lost Children Pt.1 completed illustration. This took me two or three years to finish as I forgot about it after ending up as a WIP and out of sight/out of mind. I touched up what was possible, added in characters, so it might look a bit off, since it is ^^; Lost Children Illustration B Finally did the odd family assortment of Rema, Dusk and Lauro with Miriam and Mila ^^ Happy little picture~ Other than Illustration A, I wanted to do just these characters in a setting together among others. I finished this one today and took me a little with referencing certain things I wanted in that part of the outdoor manor (to fit when I sketch the whole thing later) and their attire. Miriam and Rema's are entirely made up, Mila is in her main while I put Dusk in something new, more casual. A mix of Renaissance and Baroque period. I chose something manga like this time with shading rather than outright color. Doing something different.
