After I implented Killozapit's Pathfinding script I playtested the game and a few moments later there appeared a syntax error. I know it's because I used the comment wrong. Right now, I already deleted the script and I won't be using it anymore. But the problem my game has a ton of lag ever since. I've tried some anti-lag scripts but they don't seem to work. Anyone know how I can solve this issue?

Your question is lack of clues.

Lag may causes by many things. It could be caused by the badly design of HUD scripts, or too many events.

Have you tried in a blank map?

I haven't, but before I used the script comment in a certain event there was no lag at all. And after the syntax error all of a sudden a ton of lag. And I just tried it on a blank map and it has still the same issue.

I'd recommend you upload a few screenshots, of both your scripts and the event in question.

From my experience I'd say (if you are using a small map sparsely populated by events) you have two clashing directives. Something like a parallel process constantly turning on some BGM and another turning it off, and for some reason both on a loop. I'm sure you get the idea. Re-check everything.

I basically have 60 fps all the time. And I am pretty sure the problem is within RM cause before the syntax error everything was just fine. And after that all of a sudden a ton of lag? And I am happy to upload some screenshots, but I don't have a single parallel event.

Does it happen to most of your applications as well? Also, try to see if you're setting up a normal resolution for your PC.

I don't use many applications where lag could happen. And I haven't changed my resolution either so that should be good.

Could re-install RM work?
