This post is for my music, what I create, any edits I've done etc. I AM only a novice, but I guess we all have to start somewhere. Please note that my output rate isn't GREAT, as I DO do this only as a hobby These are the rules for my songs please quickly scan before listening and read fully before using The rules of use can, and may be updated at any time without prior knowledge, If the rules change after you have contacted me to tell me that you are using a song then you are bound by the original rules (at the time you contacted me) #1 Use in non-commercial projects ..:.. You are free to do so without credit* However, I would be interested in seeing the final result so be sure to PM me before release with a release date, I USUALLY PM back, and my mum thinks I'm cool, so.. we may spawn some interesting conversations or even become friends! #2 Use in commercial projects ...:.... This is extremely unlikely, but hey, T&Cs have to cover ALL variables.. so, aside from you being crazy, Please ask, I will usually say yes, and again you are free to use without credit* but a free copy of the game would always be a nice donation! #3 Distribution ...:... Please do not distribute this song onto other forums or to people as it takes traffic away from this post. You may provide a link anywhere. If you wish to put a song into a resource pack or demo (which would provide an alternate method to obtaining it) , please contact me! The chances are I will probably say yes unless the song has only very very recently been uploaded (that doesn't mean it's automatically a no, just something that needs to be discussed!) #4 PoC Screenshots ...:... I will always upload Proof of Creation Screenshots, to prove that I indeed created it, to avoid any disputes and material theft. I may type rules into it, however, they are rules at time of song creation and could change, please refer to THIS list for updated rules, as THESE rules are valid #5 Remixes / Remasters / Key Changes...:... Contact me before. I may provide project data for you to remix or remaster if there is a purpose. you MUST credit me in the song title when this happens. IE : "Song Name - Crash (yourname remix)" unless we have agreed otherwise. For key changes, I am usually happy to do these for you, to save attempts at just speeding it up, just ask. The song will be named "Song Name - Crash (In Key of x) and will have the same rules as above, however, will not be uploaded to this post. Without Credit* = By without Credit, I mean that you do not need to credit me within the credits of the game, or around your project.. This is because if you are a game company (more than one designer) or a game designer, and you use multiple different songs by different artists, it will clutter your credits and take importance away from the more important credits than one song, and I personally believe it to be silly, however, not all artists see like that, and it is not my place to start a moral debate with them, so if another artist wishes to have credit, please do so thoroughly, but you may still exclude my songs from credits. Without Credit* DOES NOT mean that you may claim to have created the song, OR with-hold the song information, if you are asked what my song is (providing the question is clearly my song) Please tell them, and if you are nice, provide a link. <-- this does not apply if you have remixed or remastered my song, however you cannot claim entirety of credit, IE. Q - What is the battle music? A - It is a remix I have made from {song name} - Crash. Commercial and non commercial projects definition explanation: My definition (and the definition so far as the rules go) of a "commercial project" is any project that is going to be directly sold (IE pay per copy) or included in a paid bundle of games, I understand that not all projects start out as commercial projects and may end up that way, so if a project you have becomes commercial after release, please tell me and we can discuss any changes that need to be made. A non commercial project is a project that will not be directly sold, either the project will generate no income or will be income based on donations only. I used each for each of 3 different elemental temples a character needed to visit. Forest, Ice and Grave. as well as a creating a fight edition for a boss. Truth be told I've never really had anyone to evaluate my work, so the only thing I have is comparison to others, and I think we all see the flaws in our own work better than in others, maybe I'm better than I think..
