Script for Single Player and Multiplayer

Recommended Posts

Hello, everyone.

Today I'm looking for a Script that enables a new option for the player on the Title Screen. The Multiplayer Option that allows at least 2 players (maximum 4 players) that own the game to play the game simultaneously (that means 2-4 Players Online Multiplayer). Also, this Script will be used with XAS Battle System, so the simultaneous multiplayer can work.

could you perchance go into greater detail about what your looking for? because multiplayer, in case you're unfamiliar with english, means to have several people playing the same game at the same time on the same console, and that description doesn't seem to match what your looking for.

Well, English is not my main language, but I speak it really well, so that's not why I couldn't explain what I'm looking for. This time, it was really hard for me to explain what I'm looking for.

Well, I'm looking for a script that allows at least 2 players (maximum 4 players) to play the game simultaneously.

He means the ability to use 2-4 people, but upon selection of multiplayer mode, you are transferred to a different map than you would be if you selected single player.

I have seen a lot of people request multiplayer scripts over the years but never seen one made. I think this is because if you just add multiplayer to the default rpgmaker, it wouldn't be effective.

For example, default battle is turn based and you could just let the other person select the menu command they want on the same keyboard so no need for multiplayer.

And if you had two people running around in a default rpgmaker game, talking to someone would pause all player movement, so multiplayer wouldn't be needed there either.

I think multiple people playing the same rpgmaker game simultaneously would need a different style of gameplay to be worth doing and accomplishing that in rpgmaker would mean re-writing most of the engine.

But it will be different! The only battle system used will be the XAS System. That's why I want the game to be playable in simultaneous 2-4 Multiplayer.

Please update your request to include information such as this. A scripter cannot make a multiplayer script for an ABS if they don't even know you're using that ABS.

Uhh... Can I ask you something? (Or maybe two, since that one was a question) What does ABS mean?

Action Battle System. XAS is an ABS.

Do you mean like a Co-Op online campaign mode? I'm not a scripter but I think that if that is what you want it could clear up a bit of the confusion.
