Why there is no one who respond on this topic? this is so cool *-* the characters is original, and the sideview battler... I like it, so creative...

but, why the choice is behind the portrait?

It looks promising!  ^_^ I really like the character sprites and busts overall! Very well drawn!

I could try out the demo as well once it's revamped and coming out.

The one that bring my attention is that you use Fandrey's music. He is friend of mine, and his music really cool.

Btw, you tagged your game as action RPG, yet the battle system is turn based :/

Looks promising. However, aside of the grammars (that you've realized it already and I know that feel, bro), consider to clean up the faces and enemy battlers since there are some clutters on the outlines...

 

Love the artworks. That crisp FEELS brought from each of the strokes stole my heart. 

 

Also, like TheoAllen said, you use Fandrey's music. He's my relatives as well, and his works are just great.  :lol:

 

Looks like you need to change the tag 'Action RPG' because your game uses turn-based system...

Looks very good. I didn't quite understand the story though. Is the governor a dictator, or just an incompetent leader?

 

Cool screenshots, the forest maps need to be a little more full though (in my opinion).

 

This could be a great project indeed. Good luck!

I gotta say this really looks nice! Although the forest maps looks a little empty though even with those border trees.

You can add some trees around those empty spots to make it a more feel of a forest. Other than that, this game looks nice to try out.

Finally checked back here to find all of your lovely feedback!

 

@Zeon013 Thank you! The choice got cut off, because it became too long... I am thinking about doing something to fix this. For example... show text from Clarence then show the choices. That way the bust will disappear and you can see the choices.

 

@TheAQIB Thank you! I am happy we stand out from the others, I never had much doubt that we were not Original. However hearing it makes it that much better.

 

I'm sure you'll have a PC by August. ;)

@LadyMinerva Thank you, you're going to have to wait a while. Planned release was moved back with all of the artwork to come.

@TheoAllen, good to hear. It is an action battle system, using victors Active Time battle.

 

@Richter We are striving to clean up the grammar with the Revamp... which will be out the latest August. Characters tab? Not to sure what you're talking about.

@Rodoren Thanks... about the governors. Let me explain, the Zeldon Government is ran as a Junta. A junta is a group of generals that rule together, in Zeal each governor or governess rules a section of land or a city to be exact. Many of them rule independent regardless of the Emperor and make major decisions on their own. Hope that clears up everything!
 

Working as I go with those maps, starting to make them look a bit more fuller.

 

Yes I am sure it will be.... no not just confidence. Based off of what I have done in eventing, I am having fun! I cannot wait for it to be released, but I must be patient and do what  I set for myself to do.

By the way, I saw a video of your project that features Victor's Platform Movement, you could say I'm really into something like that!  ^_^

@LadyMinerva it was... but there was a major complecation and I had to get rid of it. Anyway we will still have our inventive puzzles in the dungeons!

Though there will be some platforming puzzles, more on timeing of jumps.

 

Oh and I just realized something it's not a tun based system. It is an active time battle system! So sorry! :P

We've done it! We've achieved a battle system that is truly action packed. It is truly active time, enemies do not wait for you to finish a command! So be ready this is a true battle!
