Icon Item

Version: 1.0f

Introduction
This script changes the way the item scene appears. It will no longer display a name but a icon as item instead. A few neat features is included to play around with, hope you enjoy it!


Features

  • Icons as items! (See more at screenshot how it looks like)
  • The ability to display/hide name, amount, help icon etc.
  • Categories for each item/armour/weapon which you setup in the note field.
  • Each category changes the background color of each item.
  • Compatible with XS - Inventory Weight, XS - Item Durability and XS - Equip Requirements.
  • And more!

How to Use
Instructions how to use it can be find inside the script.
To install this script, open up your script editor and copy/paste this script to an open slot below Materials but above Main. Remember to save.

Released 1.0f. Fixed a bug if XS - Equip Requirements wasn't installed.

Hi, is giving an error when I'm going to use an item to select it:

 

line 138: Type Error ocurred

can't convert nil into String

 

what do I do?

@Catitoo: What version of the script are you using? When are the specified item being used? i.e in the item menu scene or in battle or on the map?

Hey there! Awesome scripts I love them all! :D

 

I am however getting a strange error when I choose an item to use/view. :/

Is this Compatible with Ace Item Menu?

 

I wouldn't mind knowing if it's compatible either :D. It looks like a nice scene.

@Ashern: It should be, you can try out for yourself and see if there is any issues.

 

I just popped the script in and, up front, it works. I don't have time right now to edit it and setup all the options to see if complications arise, but just wanted to let you know that it seems to work.

What is this "Category List" and where can I find what the default categories are?
