It's a little tad early to say that~ I know some of those sprites are also from the Touhou DL Mugen. Someone did link me to a webpage via pm that contain these battler sprites. It had sprites of the unlikely ones you see like Shikieiki and the ones you mention. :3 These are custom fan made sprites though so it might be limited. But like I said, it's still early to say since you won't see the Lunatic Mode update in a while~ and... if a certain personal spriter if up for the task... xD

 

But I'll need to think about it too, as much as I like to have a majority of the Touhou characters, I don't want too much because in my mind, they need to have a role in the story somehow, nobody likes random characters who do not have a main purpose... :3

Ok i guess, so one of my favorite characters(mokou)is out...well at least we have alice, marisa, cirno and reisen.oh and a suggestion:use some touhou enemies like fairies or those little ghosts so the game will be more touhou-ish.another suggestion:why don't you use some characters with less poses as bosses with not so many skills?this way you will be able to add more(non-playable)characters

Nope not yet~ Remember that this project is still early. I cannot say at the moment, I have a lot of time to think about it so don't worry~ Besides, it's a surprise. :3 I don't want to spoil everything until I know for certain I can do it~ It's better that I don't say anything yet because you yet to see the demo... xD Plus whatever I posted on the first thread is not full, there are a lot more details I left out there, the thing that you don't want to do is to spoil what's going to be implemented. I mean half the interest is finding what I put and did, and so far, you haven't seen what I did yet.... :3 I'm not the kind of person who's like "Hey look what I did, come see on my thread and bump it!"

 

Ah yes, the 'young' youkai, I might but this one is talking a... spoiler below~

Glad to hear it! :3 I'm also going to be working on a kind of Touhou Lore and background story. There are a couple of things that you may not understand when I release the demo. So I'm going to give you a close introduction on what this project really is about~ There is a sample of it on my blog just to give you a heads up on what I'm trying to do. :3 A couple of you have already seen it but this is to show that this project is more than just an RPG game for me. :3

 

Although it's not to fully describe the Gensokyo history, most of it is made up but it's a way to understand what the project is about after all. If any of you read the first thread, there was an incident called the Scarlet Mist that I only described it in minor. So I think I'll post a little story about it.  What I'll do is I'll post a little title of Touhou Lore in the first thread just to give you a history once my exams are done. :3

 

Oh and the beta-testers still stand to those that I've asked to test the project. :3 Beta-testers still go first~

Okie, this is a little thing I'm also was working on too,  Meet Lori-eye, a flying book NPC that you will run into a lot in the Touhou World! She is similar to Namingway; the rabbit in Final Fantasy IV, but without the ability to change your name... xD I might replace the save crystal with her instead since she is a book that can record progressions~ But her true purpose will be in the game. :3 Here is a little quick simple design I made of her. (I did get a little lazy making her but in the future I'll make her a little better~) The only thing I need left is to sprite which will be my first time doing a sprite on the computer so wish me luck! :3 Unless if there is anyone that likes to sprite Lori-eye, then that would be grateful and credit is definitely taken into account. But for now, we'll see... xD

Nicely eh? That sounds rather intimidating~ But I will accept the challenge! xD

 

Anywho just another update so far that I've finished (officially) configuring MOG's Monogatari Menu System, So far this is what it looks like when the demo is release, but of course, I'm always trying to perfect so don't always expect what you see in this screenie to actually be there. I have more tricks in my sleeves... Still experimental because I can move the menus around but it looks a lot better than what I did before hehe~

 

 

I will have to change the colour since I'm going with a new purple and white theme now... xD But the background I'll keep since it's.... Touhou! ^-^

Well, I want to compare it with the previous menu, but I can't due to my internet connection.

But, if my memory is right, the menu is now more readable. Sometimes much color or sparkle things, and custom font, give me difficulty a bit at the first glance.

But now, looks simple and beautiful! And readable. It is appealing. So I like it. ^^ .

Holy flip! Everything is so wonderful! ^~^ I am in happy land! ^~^ I plan on getting my wifey to play this game honestly. She gets a laptop in a couple of months so Ima get her into it considering that she told me she wants to be a part of the RM world some day soon So I wanna kick her off with this game and my game hehe other than that everything looks spiffing, I love that menu and I want to steal and I am going to steal it and that's about it~ To the Morrowind Mobile~

Awww thank you Turt! ^-^ I'm still practising my designing in hopeful of creating something more complex. I'm still a technical beginner with RPG Maker but I'm happy that I'm able to accomplish a current goal!

Following this topic =), progress looks awesome and 82% completion on the demo sounds exciting, look forward to trying out the release. Minerva also invited me here and I also possibly may be composing some piano songs for the game next year for things such as menu and stage themes.
