Sphiren 0 Posted August 30, 2014 Hi all. Im a newbie here I try to find any post related to my request but i couldnt find it... also, i dont know if im posting in the right section since i cannot find specific voice files section whatsoever xD Anyway, as the post title might speak for itself, im quite interested in voice files to add to my "test project" in RPG Maker Ace. Its only a test, im using it for no commercial purposes. For now, only training, getting more acknowledge. So... personal use. I wanted some female Japanese voices... i tried to use some online speech-text sites and i found one with a incredible voice (the best i could find). But it doesnt allow to save file. I cannot save with software directly from my pc... so i tried using my phone xD worked... but very low quality... My experiences put aside, can someone help me find a pack of voice files? Jonnie91 1,149 Posted August 30, 2014 How low quality is the recordings you've got? As they can be fiddled around with to improve the quality/volume? Have you got a sample of what you have at current?
Sphiren 0 Posted August 30, 2014 Yes. I already used Audacy to "work" on the file. Anyway i used the speech-text in jap (http://imtranslator.net/translate-and-speak/speak/japanese/) and the sound got this way: http://tts.imtranslator.net/U6MB and my sound got like this: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/38051425/Voz%20001.wav

Jonnie91 1,149 Posted August 31, 2014 First of all please don't double post, as that's against the forum rules, you can use the edit post to add more information With regards to the audio, if you do a little bit of cleaning up with Audacity, and the Noise removal, it should improve it enough for you to use it
Sphiren 0 Posted August 31, 2014 I already have used noise removal. The sound file of the link is how it became... It was way worse... Maybe ill try to, again, clear the noise... to see how it got. Sorry for the double post!
Jonnie91 1,149 Posted August 31, 2014 The thing is, Noise removal is a brilliant tool, but you must be careful There was a little bit too much NR on that file, you need to do a little bit more, but create a new noise profile, whilst selecting the slight hissing sound you hear between words.
