Noss Bigga Prod 0 Posted October 3, 2014 New member, not sure if this is the right place to post but..My friend and I just purchased this software about a week ago. We're nothing special but we've got big plans. We're working on a game that's based in this time period (details aren't too important). We're not really fond of the combat system that the game comes with. Is there any way to implement a new one? I've seen vids of games with a side-view, but is there anyway to add anything else? HumanNinja 144 Posted October 3, 2014 There are a few different battle system scripts. ABS, side view, tactical, or the many variations of sideview and frontview.

amerk 1,122 Posted October 8, 2014 Many of the scripts will have instructions with them. You'll need to learn how to add scripts in (easy and becomes second nature with practice), but most battle systems are not plug and play, or if they are they are very basic and will require more understanding to incorporate more advanced features. Simply installing a script won't yield many results; you'll have to read through them and apply the instructions given. The nice thing about Ace is that they're generally a lot easier to understand and manipulate than what I've seen with previous programs, but depending on the script you are using, and the scripter you are using them from, they can range from easy to difficult depending on your experience with using scripts.
