Made another one, I think I may have found a style that I like making these in. Generally I'll make three revolving around one color. Purple is first one down, so onto orange (since I have one already made). This one seemed a little to washed out though, so let me know what you all think.

The orange one, looks fine, it's a nice change of pace with your usual purple. Can't say any bad things about it, except for the text colour, somehow, TO ME, it looks like it doesn't fit in too well. (just MY opinion).

About the new purple one, same as your usual work: great piece of art like always. Only now, I personally think the face is a bit too pale. (but that's probably taste )

Ah okay, I hopefully fixed the Orange one.

 

I don't know if I can fix the pale face though, as it's about how it was with the original image. I'll see what I can do though.

well "fixing" wasn't the right word, I mean, It was probably just personal tastes and such. I like the new orange one more .

New one, haven't posted one in a while, been a little busy. Anyways, this looks a little messy to me, as I went a little crazy on the dodging and played around with a few mapped gradients.

Just let me know if I should change anything.

Izu, how do you go about doing this? Do you just find an image and crop it there? Do you draw it up? I'm just amazed how well placed they are.

I use premade renders for the anime pictures. (I haven't tried drawing any for my signatures yet, but I'm hoping to soon.)

 

Everything else, involves a lot of effects and manipulation of C4ds, Clipping masks, Fractals, Soft Renders, Overlays, Smudging, Gradient maps, and a TON of Vector Masks.

 

There's a little more than just that, but that's pretty much it. I could make a basic tutorial to get you started if you all would like me to.

O.O....That sounds difficult and tedious. I think I'll do one thing at a time xD Right now I am learning Parallax mapping but if you go through all that effort to make sigs then I applaud you. Like a hell of a lot cause damn girl you got skillz. xD

Ah it's not so difficult once you get the hang of it, but having basic photoshop knowledge (or Gimp) is a Must.

 

Oh I see, Parallax mapping seems like it would be fun to do, I may have to try it sometime. ^^

Ooh, it looks nice. Maybe good for some calmer/less wild sigs. :3 I myself prefer the glowy/electronica neon abstractions, but these will do really well for some more...I don't know how to describe it....XD soothing ones? You're doing great~

@Knighterius Haha, yeah I decided to try and make the knight really pop so I added a few pinlighted particle C4Ds behing him. Perhaps I went a little to crazy with it. x3

But, yup. I'm glad that you like the new one.

 

@Tsarmina Oh yup, I kinda figured I would try something different. I honestly didn't know how it was going to turn out, so I just messed around with a few ideas.

I kinda prefer the others as well, but I may try working with this style a little while longer. See how it turns out.

Haven't posted one in a while, so decided to try and continue with the new style. I don't really like this new one, showing once again, that I still need a lot of practice. ^^;

Yay!! I've missed seeing your work around here, Izu! Around the character looks grainy even though it looks amazing as always. But you can see tiny pixels of black, is that meant to be like that?

 

Also! I had been meaning to ask you. Is it possible for you to make any sized picture with one of those backs that you use with no character there?

Ah sorry, I've been a little busy and haven't had time to make them. ^^;

 

Yup, I meant for it to be grainy, it's to make the character have like a shattering effect. But, I suppose that part could use a little more work. 

 

Oh, well I don't know about any size. But, for the most part I probably could make them fairly large. I make the backgrounds from scratch, their not to hard to make. ;p

Ahh! I could see what you're doing with it when you put it like that I quite like it though, it's nice to know that you're experimenting and getting better with your work ^~^ It's nice to see progress, especially when it's good.
