Ok so the whole spooky library thing got me inspired and resulted in this:

Secret doors with bookcases. I believe I've seen someone do it with the bigger 2x2 bookcase before, but not sure about that... Anyways, you can choose whether it opens to reveal a way through or whether it opens to reveal a door. And of course the animation for opening said door. So take your pick.

 

these are all so excellent ... noob question.. how do you event this graphic to show the left animation, middle, or right?

@Dymdez: Thanks! When you create a new event, double click graphic, select the door and then you can click on which image you want to show (so left, middle or right). For example. here I selected the middle one:

@Funky-Annabeth: Ah, I didn't think anyone would miss me! After this month is over, I have much more time so expect more uploads then!

It's finally holiday, so time to start playing with graphics again. Here's something new:

First, the animation for a cracking pot and then animations for whatever evil you have released upon the world by cracking said pot! It could be some (poisonous?) cloudy substance or some tentacles. It's up to you.

Today I made three new monster sprites; Wolfimp, Scorpicat & Flameskull. I'm not completely happy how Flameskull turned out, though.

Next update:

People and a skeleton on flames based obviously on the ifrit guy from the RTP obviously. These would probably look best in combination with some effects (fogs/lightning/etc.).

I'm thinking of doing some icons from scratch for the next update.

Triple post, but new update:

First row plus the first and second from the second row are made by scratch by me. Last five on the second row are RTP edits.

 

First row: fake blood capsule, eyeball brown (2x), eyeball green (2x), eyeball blue (2x)

Second row: severed finger (not sure about the fingernail...), gravestone, bat, rat, goblin head, blue claw, human skeleton

Very nice, very nice. Especially the wardrobe/bookcase door; I'm going to have to make some room in my tilesets for that one (oh wait, it's a charsheet, it won't take up tileset space lol)

Huge Update!

 

So, here's a ton of stuff to complete the haunted library. You can use these together with some older stuff I made; the self-writing book, the hidden bookcase door and the book falling out of the bookcase.

So first of all, floating books, letter and worldmap. You don't have to put '$' at the front of the filename for this one. All of the others should have a '$' in front of the filename. Next, spooky eyes appearing in four flavors, bookcases with ladders that can move (there's three different bookcases), book falling from a pile of books, scrolls falling from a table and crates, worldmaps rolling open (or close) and books appearing (or disappearing).

 

@AbkaDefKey: Sorry for the late reply and thanks! None of my stuff has to be placed in a tileset, I guess that makes it a bit easier for those who have a lot of tiles.

That unfolding map is going to be very useful. Very good! Do you have a version for the one other orientation of the map as well? (The map tile has four different orientations, and you've got three of them on the charsheet)

 

Also the cracking pot is awesome, not sure how I forgot to mention that.
