Tsukihime 1,489 Posted December 10, 2014 Forgetting to save is a common issue in RM, especially since battle test doesn't ask you to save and if you don't save, the changes you've made to your scripts aren't applied.
slentara1 0 Posted December 10, 2014 So that is what i was doing wrong? good to know i wasnt breaking the game lol
Coolie 148 Posted December 10, 2014 It's also a good idea to avoid Battle Test altogether. Just make a test map to try things out on using a new game file. This way you know your new additions will load with a new game save.
Kayzee 4,033 Posted December 10, 2014 I guess it's kind of a moot point but, should you really be encouraging the practice of inserting scripts in the middle of the default scripts like that? You are really supposed to put new scripts between the "Materials" and "Main Process" markers, where it says "(insert here)".
Coolie 148 Posted December 10, 2014 For a single method addition, I think it's fine.
Tsukihime 1,489 Posted December 10, 2014 It's usually a single method change that they forget about that causes the problem.
