When Bugs Roam Ur House, I love the work that he has shown me so far.  I have not found anything displeasing so far.  In business ventures, I have learned that when I like something, it is sometime good to take the counsel of others.  I would appreciate either or both, in regards to illustration critiquing and liking of art style.  Thanks for you input,

Oh wow for a second there I thought that second drawing looked like a particular character I had been discussing with MinisterJay. Anyway I really do like the art, but really it might depend on how well it can be scanned and/or digitally colored and touched up. I mean, it looks great on paper, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will in the game. Probably will though. :3

What's with the random hands in his artwork? It really takes away from the central focus of the picture. It's just so....unappealing. :\

 

Nah, I kid. The first illustration is really well done and high quality. My personal recommendation is to take him if the position is currently available, but also ask him if he can devote himself to the project. Good art doesn't mean anything if he can't devote himself to the project.

I have found that it does not even matter, if someone is peeing paid, that if they can not devote the time to a project, it is a waste of time and money.  Thanks Arin.

I am not sure of what use my critique will be, but well... here is my honest opinion :

For the first picture.. her chin could be made a bit longer. : ) The left jaw could also be moved slightly left. Then, the right eye could be raised a bit.

Her nose and mouth should also be quite a bit larger: For example, the corners of the mouth are at about halfway the length of the eye.

 

For the second picture, her waist should be larger as well. : ) This is because, ideally, women's waists are equal to approximately the size of one head.

Her hips could start a bit higher as well.

 

 

For whether i like the art style or not... regrettably, well... i think i may not really like it... >__< sorry!

 

 

I sincerely hope that my opinion does not alter your ultimate happiness/ satisfaction with this artist.

I appreciate your opinion and critiquing.  Some like the drawings, and other do not.  Again thanks.  I am curious to see his rendition of Bobbi
