Acute Horror

 

Story: Teryu wakes up from a strange dream to find himself locked inside his own house. The lights not working and flickering at odd times, Teryu must find a way to escape. Along his journey around his house, he finds hidden hallways. With no other choice he goes down the hidden hallways and rooms to find a exit and finally shed some light on this house.
 

 

Characters:

 

    Teryu: The main male protagonist, trapped inside his own house uses his wits to solve puzzles thrown at him.

 

    Wrath: One of the sins hidden in the house, uses his strength to help Teryu. It is unknown why he does this but it is hinted for his own evil       purposes.

 

    Greed: Giving hints to Teryu on how to get passed this next puzzle. However it is with a cost as Teryu needs to pay greed with money             found around the house.

 

    Lust: The seductive sin helps Teryu like greed but without the payment. However she says it in a cryptic way to lead Teryu astray and             hopefully to her bedroom   .

 

    Gluttony: Sets off some of the traps by being a idiot. This sin will cause all traps to be targeted at him but is extremely hard to find.

 

    Envy: This sin envies humans for being able to live on the surface instead of being trapped under the house. Finding this sin is extremely       unlucky and may or may not trap Teryu within the dungeons.

 

    Sloth: This sin does not act like the others as he lays about in unfortunate places effectively blocking Teryu's or other peoples path.

 

    Pride: Not much is known about pride.

 

    ???: A mysterious black figure chasing Teryu throughout the house is encountered at random and a single touch will kill you.

 

Features:

 

Includes a lighting system that makes one unsure of what lays behind or in-front of them. In addition to the lighting system I have included a new system recently that effects the game based on the different colored light the latern/flashlight produces(this system was created by Kotori-chan the idea was phenomenal, she uses it in her game  credit to her)

Hm, I might keep an eye on this one. A good horror game always gives me that lovely empty feeling inside.

Interesting ideas for sin-based characters, I hope Sloth is moved via Pokeflute. Is pride going to have a role?

Yes but he is going to be kept secret for the game, he is going to be the best one

I know! Pride will summon bombs and attack diagonally right? Hehe...

Seriously though, it's always kinda fun to see what kind of new interpretations people come up with for that old theme. It sounds like it would be interesting to see yours! *sprinkles fairy dust on you*

Pride will come out as a surprise for everyone he won't even appear in demos either. He is critical to plot though.
