FullBody RTP Character

Hello.

I am doing some experiments related to "full body characters" and this is what I got:

My original "bust" character:
 

 

And my WorkInProgress "full body (almost)" character with different outfit options (WIP too):

So, what do you think? This is a work in progress and it has took me a lot of time, is it worth it? or what should I modify? I love it but it has been difficult to develop since I am not a designer or professional digital painter, anyway, there you have it.

It looks nice. However to be honest unless your game is met for mature audiences, I'd go with option one or three. The outfit on option two is a little too revealing for a game that is not for mature audiences. But that's just my opinion. I like option one the best by the way.

Oh, thanks, sure, I did a quick kind of clothes first to show her out without being like nude haha. This is like her underwear. The thing is that I plan to work on new clothes and armors (full body) so the image can be used in-game inside the character status menu or something like that and then, each time you change her armor in the inventory or in that same menu, the image (this image) will change its armor too. I don't know how to do that yet hehe but that's something I would love to achieve.

According to that plan I should be drawing like N different armors for each "armor slot" and then, if I have N slots, get a certain amount of armor combinations  so the player can feel like there is a "customizable" character environment. I would prefer 100% getting a way of generating this "engine" trough a script which use the concept of layers as in Photoshop instead of showing a PNG file for each combination (it can be lot of PNG files). 

 

In case you know how to do that I would be pleased to read it

This my opinion ... please draw my characters too! Haha. No it's really great, the mature theme aside. I say it was a success for sure!

I really like her! I like the second one--her face is very pleasing, and I like her hairstyle as well. It's true that her clothing is a little on the skimpy side (understatement? ) but since you said you're going to add clothes on top of it, I suppose it's alright I think the edges of some of the lines could be cleaned up a little--some of them are kind of fuzzy or pixelly--but otherwise, she looks great!
