HumanNinja 144 Posted April 12, 2015 For some reason none of the buttons on the editor are working for me. I was wondering if this is some kind of problem I'm experiencing alone or if others are experiencing this as well. The buttons that aren't working are Bold, Italics, etc. all the way through the twitter button. When I highlight text and press bold, nothing happens. My insertion point is just moved to the beginning of the line it was on. When I use the link button, it won't let me paste or even type a link in the box and then the box will not close. I have to close the page from the web browser. Anyone have any ideas?
amerk 1,122 Posted April 13, 2015 Moved to Editor Support. No idea what could be the issue. Which version are you using (RMW's or Steams). You may have to contact Degica for support if it can't be resolved. Ah shit, just realized? You said editor, but are you asking about issues with the forum? HumanNinja 144 Posted April 13, 2015 Yeah, sorry I didn't make that more clear. I'm having problems with the forum's post-editor buttons. Actually, today the text altering buttons are working for me. However, when I try to use the link button, I can't ever get it to work. And the pop-up box never goes away. I have to exit the web page.
@Monkeysnow55 8 Posted April 13, 2015 Try clearing your browsing data, or try a different browser.
HumanNinja 144 Posted April 14, 2015 I was using Internet Explorer 11. I tried clearing the history of everything and that didn't work. I just downloaded the latest version of Firefox and now all the in-editor buttons (like the link, etc.) are working properly. Thanks @Monkeysnow55. Simple solutions are most often correct
amerk 1,122 Posted April 15, 2015 I seldom use IE for anything anymore, except at work (and they're still on IE8 so that doesn't help much). I generally use Google Chrome or Firefox myself with little to no hiccups. IE may have been great at one point, but it seems MS doesn't care enough about it anymore.
