Opinion on tilesets and pictures

I have been working on the tilesets to make the game look old and in black and white, but I am not sure if it looks good enough or even okay. I am working on the clothes shop things, so I need to know before I go further on the project. I am not sure if the places look empty or with to many things, since it is a modern days style game, I have to paint a lot. I will appreciate honest feedback and critics since this is the first time I do something like this.

In my opinion, I think they look great! Everything works really well together. When I first saw them, I instantly thought about the old Pokemon games on the Gameboy. =)

 

 

 

 

 

So I think you achieved the style of making it look rather old. The black and white color palette really sells it.

 

The only problem that you may run into, is making the world seem to cluttered, from the screenshots though, I think it looks fine. ^^

When I decided to do it black and white and instantly remember the old Game Boy games, specially pokemon red and blue, sadly the new generations will not know that... And thanks for your opinion, it made me feel relieved, at least it looks good.

The art style is tremendous! You did incredible with it!

 

The only issue I see might be intentional, but pharmacy is spelled with an "S" in the screen and not a "C" like it should be. Otherwise, top-notch job that makes me jealous!
