Which do you think is more likely- Pokemon Z or Pokemon XY2?

Personally Im hoping for XY2. Once they introduced player customization in XY I feel like I cant go back. Because IM the trainer! ME! It was a great feeling. A sequel would be fantastic. As for Z, I feel like third versions are not important. Since I have Y, why would I want to buy practically the same game?

 

Anyway enough of my blabble. What do you think is more likely to happen?

A pokemon game that has all pokemon available in one gigantic region that holds 8 pokemon leagues and 64 gyms :3 level cap to 200, trainer customization, actual multiplayer where you get to see other players running on the fields, a realistic pokemon battle system (turn based? Nah, pikachu use agility then thunderbolt!) *_* But that won't happen.... Unless I take over the creators of pokemon nyahahaha

Ive heard a similar idea. Something like a Pokemon Universe where all regions are available as well as all Pokemon. It would be nice to see Pokemon go MMO.

 

Also, I second a Firered/Leafgreen remake since I have a soft spot for Gen 1 (mainly because of the manga lol) I just hope if they do, they revert back to Reds old design with the black hair and all that.

Have you heard of this yet? It's a fan made MMO of Pokemon called Pokemon: Dawn of Darkness. It's still in it's alpha stage but apparently it's pretty popular. Third versions are great. Sure, they're a shameless moneygrab but so are the remakes. Generally speaking though, third versions have the best range of pokemon available and also more legendaries; its not GameFreak's fault you didn't wait for the optimal version. The only bad thing about third versions is, really, they should be the first versions.

Its how Colisseum was meant to be. I've not really looked into it though since I was told it was Japanese only release.

No I haven't heard of it :0 Once I get a decent WiFi connection I'll have to check it out for sure

 

And yes, I want a remake of a remake xD

Since its my favorite generation, I'm curious to see it in a 3D world tbh. I also didnt like some things in Firered such as Reds design among other things.

 

And I totally understand waiting until the third version comes out before trying the game. What I meant is if you are someone who already has the game, its really not too exciting when a 3rd version comes out. Unless you reeally wanna catch em all.

I just checked Pokémon Dawn of Darkness, it's better than this one. This other MMO has the chars from the NDS games so the graphics kinda suck now, but other than that, it is still a great Pokémon MMO.

On the topic of remakes, I have to say that I've probably put more hours into Platinum than any other Pokemon game.

 

Now I've loved the Mystery Dungeon games, but "Gates to Infinity" removed a lot of things that made the games great. Like the choice of gender and the questions at the beginning. 

 

For whether or not they make a remake for X and Y, I think it'll probably be named Z. I'll also probably get it.

*Ahem* I think you mean: Pokemon Mega Mystery Dungeon, so that we can include the atomic radius of what is now know as "Mega Evolution" *goes all scientific and pulls out a chalk board and starts drawing pokemon* Since Pokemon expressed sonically is one of *gets hit over the head and returns back to normal Knighty* Ummm...

 

Anyway! Definitely another remake would be delicious! Or a different game entirely with what they've learned from X and Y. ^~^ in addition I would like pokemon to follow my character again.

 

Edit: As for what Izu was saying, I think if they were to make another pokemon game it would be Z not XY2, so I agree with Izu to answer the OT.

Imagine the last installment being Pokemon Death and Life, with a more darker story. The legendary for Death would be like a grim reaper pokemon and the Life legendary would look like an angel

 

If Nintendo/Gamefreak doesn't do it, I will.

Well, they already have their Grim Reaper. Giratina. I mean, one of the 3 locations that it's able to visit is literally a cemetery where Pokemon can be brought back from the dead (Technically speaking of course).
