I haven't given up, I'm just in the middle of my break from RPG Maker right now.

As promised, it's been a month, and I have a new computer... so it's time to get back to work!

I feel very fresh now. It's going to take a bit to find where I was in development and resume from there, but with my fresh outlook on things, the game's overall quality will improve. With that said, story-wise, I'm in Episode 1's closing act. With my new set of eyes, I'm sure I can throw some new twists into the mix and make the story even deeper then it already is. As it is, Episode 1's story arc is really oriented towards character introduction and development, so expect to see a lot of faces that will become staples of your party for the episodes to come! Also, regardless of the depth of the backstory of each character, each and every one of these party characters will have an equal amount of characterization, and each will have their own unique spin on the story. Each party member will have unique observations of a certain situation, and of course this is a non-linear tale, so be prepared for this game to be highly replayable!

I hope you have as much fun playing as I have making this game when time finally comes for release. Unfortunately, that is a ways off. But I'm doing what I can!

Thanks for your support!

IT'S DONE! IT'S FREAKING DONE! THE STORY IS ENTIRELY WRITTEN AND FINISHED! :D

Now I just need to spend hours and hours perfecting the framework, adding optional conversations, fixing up my scripts, and writing side-quests... :(

Congrats on your well-deserved accomplishment. You've been at this for a long time, and deserve to see the fruits of your labor.

Thanks amerk, it took a long time but it was definitely worth it in the end, and it'll be even more worth it in the end when I finish the game itself. Even if that one is a ways off.
