I wanted to give things a slightly cartoony feeling, this is a project in development, and I may not make a thread about it until I get a stable demo going.

I pretty much made around 90% of these graphics so yeah.

You mean the blue orb thingies that marks locations? yeah those will be animated and will blink a little when selected, yes the map will scroll, in fact, the clouds in the background move too but it's not noticeable with still screenshots.

These are beautiful, so cheerful and sort of peaceful.  Like they were made by a small child if that child was a really talented artist with more patience and organizational skills than any child would actually have.   

 

Does this game have fighting in it?  I'm curious what the battlers would look like!

Hm, if I have to nitpick, the 5th image of the 1st post, the perspective on the circular stone wall going into a water-way looks a bit funky to me. Everything else looks great x-x
