dnel57 0 Posted August 22, 2015 Greeting all! My name is Dave. Have been an exclusive RPG player since the very first RPG ever in 1986 (Dragon Warrior) and have been hooked on them since. Have probably played about 250-300 commercial RPGs since then. I am hoping to make one of my own. I want to buy the VXAce. Just not sure if my system will do it or not. 1.8 Dual Core Win 8.1 64bit 500gHD 4g Mem Browsing around trying to find out. Good luck to all developers and gamers. Radiant Arin 412 Posted August 22, 2015 1.8 Dual Core is more than enough to run RPG Maker adequately. I have a crappy Celeron 2.1 Ghz Dual Core and it can run most RPG Maker games smoothly. RAM is negligible since the actual games take little to no RAM to process. Just be aware that you can't go into Fullscreen mode on 8.1 version with a Dual Core, or it'll mess with your FPS and cause it to slow down. If you can, try to upgrade to Win 10, as the Fullscreen bug is fixed in 10 as opposed to Win 8.1. Otherwise, welcome!

Seriel 830 Posted August 22, 2015 I have 1GHz and RPG Maker runs fine. Your computer is more than enough to handle it.

Arrpeegeemaker 136 Posted August 23, 2015 Hello Dave, glad to have another fellow RPGer, soon we'll be unstoppable! In the meantime, be sure to check out the tutorials section after playing around with the Maker yourself for a while, and be sure to ask any questions you can't already find answered ^^
