Mainly due to explicit language and some sexual/suggestive themes.

 

Abstract:  Pokemon in "comedic" yet serious situations.
Genre: RPG
Game Progression: Limited early alpha, expect at least a year for beta with our current crew.
Recruitment:
Artists for sprites, Minor scripters are not needed but are open for interest.

Current Crew: [Main developer] Eziam. [Possible scripter] Kevans. [Definite playtester] Ion.

 

A game with a world of Pokemon. But the Pokemon are the people. Mix that in with some cheezy stories and cute characters, and you get some interesting reults.

Characters

[Disclaimers, these characters indeed are from real people, characters here came from friends of mine!

More characters may be added, not guaranteed!]

Ion [Ihonized: Specializes in 3d anthro Pokemon. Can be NSFW]

The leader. In comparison, he is the all rounder. Ion is a 14 year old shiny Zoroark, who dyes his fur cyan and a darker shade of black.  His height is 6 feet 7 inches. He is covered in scarves that came from who he was close to, and they died in action. He is as well covered in a number of bandages, one on every limb and arm, as well as his torso. He is best friends with Clara and Sym. Ion is a mercenary sniper, additionally.

 

 

Sym [Sym: Best friends with Ion]

Sym is a 15 year old entirely grey and white Lucario. He has a multi-color scarf around him, with a cap and goggles on his head. He is Ion's best friend, and in comparison, is the powerhouse of the group, highest strength. His height is 4 feet 11 inches. Sym is a mercenary swordsman, but has a weapon that starts as a Honedge. His Honedge evolves later on. Symmy is very well in the defense area.

 

Clara [No Preview Pic as of yet] [Character from Ihonized as well]

Clara is a 14 year old Flygon, the medic of the group. She is a mercenary medic as well. Ion is her best friend. She caries her medical suppleis on a belt around her. Both of her goggles are cracked open, so her eyes are not protected anymore. She uses a magnum as her weapon. Her height is 6 feet 7 inches.

Maize [BuncheofHoney: Draws Pokemon Art, not really NSFW except one picture]

Maize is a 5 year old Gardevoir who wears black leg stockings and eyeliner. In comparison, she is the mage of the group. Her height is 4 feet 11 inches. Her daughter is a Minun named Lily, of course not blood related to her. Maize uses melee has her weaponry. Maize eventually falls in love with Ion, but he doesn't acknowledge her interests.

Lily [Lily: Best friends with Maize]

Lily is a 2 year old Minun. She is a very energetic Minun, and is also the smartest in the group. Her height is 1 foot 5 inches, roughly a foot tall excluding her ears. She wears a hot pink jacket and a stick-on bow-tie on her forehead. Lily's mother is Maize the Gardevoir. Due to her size and body anatomy, she uses blowguns as her weaponry. She is also the weakest in the group, proper care is needed for her.

 

Benedetto [No Preview Pic as of yet]

Benedetto is a mysterious Mega Banette. He primarily focuses on thievery over combat. Statistically, he is one with the highest Agility, but its about equal to Lily. Since he can steal, he can be used to get higher amounts of loot. Benedetto is about 4 feet in height. Not much is known about Benedetto. His choice of weaponry is dual wielding blades, but is crazy enough to holster dual chainsaws. Benedetto is most friendly to Lily.

 

Obsidian [No Preview Pic as of yet] [Friend of Ihonized and Sym]

Obsidian is a wizard Delphox. He specials in special attacks. He is a mage himself, but is better at summoning attacks. Delphox is roughly 5 feet tall, wearing a glasses to see better. His weaponry consists of staffs, usually used for magic and summons. He seems to be best friends with Ion.

 

Arceus [No Preview Pic as of yet]

Although not a playable character until the last hours of the game, Arceus is an optional member to join and be used to fight. Arceus is only able to use on attack, and is practically indestructible. However, Arceus is not needed at all if the player so chooses to. Arceus is about 10 feet tall. It treats all the characters equally as heroes and heroines.

 

Setting/Plot

Let's see how brief or long this gets.

The main world is called Parvanima, the world where the game will mostly take place on.

Ion, Clara and Sym are hired mercenaries. On their job, assassinate a female Lucario named Pinkster. Their first encounter with Pinkster and her crew fails, they escape. A Gardevoir named Maize, and a Minun named Lily was found during the encounter. Maize or Lily will help them fight Pinkster's group, as they hurt Maize's daughter, who is Lily. You start with already a big group of five members.

 

Their journey only begins here. Throughout the game, many places will be visited, and many secrets to be unfolded. But more importantly, the lookout for Pinkster gets more drawn out. Many creatures, both big and small, are encountered on the way.

 

Ion's group should be confronted by Arceus itself shortly after. Later Dialga and Giratina will aid the crew as well. The darker aspect of the game essentially starts here.

 

The crew backtracks quite a lot before confronted again by Arceus. Upon their talk, it is warned that the dark force as risen.

 

They are the ones to defeat the dark force. Why them? Why not?

Features [Or in other words, what to expect other than the story line]

[The only feature as of now is gameplay wise.]

Many Easter Eggs and secrets to find in the world. Finding them all should allow you to get one extra quest that once completed should unlock a new location, and something special to drive.

 

Post game quests. Upon completing the main story, you will have the option to do post game quests. completing all the quests will unlock more easter eggs and secrets.

 

Some game randomization for some areas and parts of the story. a second replay of the storyline may be a bit different, but the main problem will stay the same.

 

Something not super unique, but the calender system will trigger festivals, and some quests and missions can only be done on said date on the calender.

 

Currently as of right this moment, only custom things script wise are very minor. (battle transition speed has been changed and the music starts at the battle screen instead of during the transition, extremely minor)

 

Music

The game's music is custom! However, the music is not something for traditional RPGS. It usually consists of a type of electronic genre, such as glitch, EDM, etc. There are some songs that are "orchestral." The game has a variety of music of genres. What to expect while playing this game? Jumpy dance-like music. I can already confirm the music may not interest a few players.

There has not been many updates, but I'm trying the best with updating as much as I can. One new screenshot and some extra character information. Game progress should be improved at some point.

I also noticed how spoiling the story tab was. My fault entirely. I removed some things to keep further spoiling away if it's already not to late!

Added full body art of the characters im able to give to give a better idea what they look like.

Sorry for having not replied to this thread! Don't be nervous or anything--it looks quite well done ^^ I especially love the accessories you added to the Pokemon. It's original and I think it's quite cute at the same time XD Overall the mapping is really well done too, I just wish the trees in that first screenie weren't so pixellated :(

This marks the start of "mini-game" development. Still learning the ins and outs of stuff to make sure they are optimized and well. [There's a picture of it in the screenshots spoiler]
