Seriel 830 Posted August 31, 2015 I'd like to be a judge for the contest. Sure. The full rules are now up! The contest will start 24 Hours from now. (1st Sept. 7PM UK Time) At this time, sign ups will be closed. Good luck! This will be very similar to the IGMC rules. If in doubt, consult me or the IGMC rules Each game will be given to every judge. They will give a score out of 60. The reports will then be viewed by all the judges and an agreement will be made. Scores will be given as follows (Same as the IGMC) 1)Presentation How your game presents itself from a non-mechanic perspective. Things included in this will include writing, art, story, music. This will focus mostly on things that the player does not directly interact with. 2)Gameplay How your game plays. This will include the mechanics of your game, and all other interactions the player can directly have with the game. This can include some aspects of story and plot, if the player has a way to control the way it progresses. 3)Engagement How well does your game grip the player? This will cover a lot of the intangibles of the game. How does it all fit together? How interested are we in continuing to the end? This is determined based on fun and engrossing factors. Your game then may pe penalized for and bugs or glitches found. Each minor glitch or bug that has no appreciable effect on the presentation or gameplay will not effect your score. A major glitch, which causes a noticeable negative effect on the game will result in a -5. If a game has a glitch or bug that results in the game being unplayable within the first 10 minutes of gameplay, the game will be disqualified completely. If it occurs after the 10 minute mark, the game will be judged based on what they played, with a -10 penalty to overall score. --RULES-- 1.Games must be complete, started no earlier than 1st September UK Time, and created by you (unless you have permission to post the game). No exceptions! 2. Judges will only be required to judge a game for 1 hour. As such, any game over 1 hour will only be judged on its first hour of play. Your game will not be penalized for being less than one hour. 3. Everyone involved in a project should be credited unless they consent otherwise. This includes the creators of resources (graphics, music, scripts, etc.)! 4. Games must be submitted to the Contest Topic as either a file or a link to a browser game. Submissions must be playable by the public (No PMing the game) If you wish you may also send me a PM to notify me that your game has been submitted. 5. Games must be playable on Windows (at least in compatibility mode for Windows XP, Vista, or 7). 5. If you do not want your prize, tell me when deciding which one you want. Any leftover prizes will be given to the 6th 7th, 8th etc. at a rate of one each. 6. Prizes will be delivered via PM in the form of a Steam Key redeemable on steam. To redeem the Luna Engine and the DLC you must own RPG Maker VX Ace on Steam 7. Games must be in English. 'Nuff said. 8. No 18+ content: games with pornographic/extreme violence will be disqualified. These games should be playable by teenagers. If you are unsure, consult me (Jackus) 9. Plagiarism, copying the work of other contestants, and other forms of cheating are forbidden. Viruses, etc. will disqualify a game instantly. 10. Games must be finished and submitted by Spetember 8th 7PM UK time. No extensions will be given. We recommend uploading a day in advance to avoid any unfortunate accidents or difficulties. 11. Each person may only submit one entry.
