Eric Matyas 482 Posted August 17, 2020 Hi Folks, If you possibly can, please consider making a small donation to support my work and my website. The keyboard synthesizers I use to create free music for everyone are very expensive…I actually make monthly payments on them…and your donations really help me a lot to pay for them each month. Thanks in advance! That said, this week’s new free MP3 music tracks are: On my Looping Music page: MYSTICAL OCEAN PUZZLE GAME_v001 – This version doesn’t include the mark-tree percussion sounds heard in the original. https://soundimage.org/looping-music/ On my Puzzle Music 6 page: PUZZLES ON ALIEN WORLDS – (Looping) – Maybe for a sci-fi themed puzzle game of some kind? CRYPTIC COOLOSITY – (Looping) – Perhaps for a cool matching game or something cryptic with motion in it? https://soundimage.org/puzzle-music-6/ And on my Techno page: HAPPY TRANCIN’ – (Looping) – A really fun-sounding tranc-y loop. https://soundimage.org/dance-techno/ I’ve also had a number of requests from content creators who wish to download my tracks in bulk rather than one at a time so I’ve begun creating Music Packs of my Ogg tracks. So far, I have packs available for all of my Fantasy pages…they are available on Gumroad. Here’s the link if you’d like to check them out: https://soundimage.org/ogg-music-packs/ Enjoy…and please stay safe and healthy.

I won't mention recent events or names, but yeah, people have gone crazy and/or homicidal/genocidal. Still, I don't appreciate the nonsense and.....meh. Thinking about it gives me a headache. Thinking about coding is giving me a headache. Eh, I'll just appreciate the art of others from a distance...

PhoenixSoul 1,417 Posted October 8, 2020 Are you, perchance, doing anything in regards to a tribute to the recently late Guitar Hero, Eddie Van Halen? Just asking.

Just asking. I know...it's a huge loss...I couldn't believe it when I heard the news. I really admired him, not only for his music, but for how he and his band played small venues for years and years before they ever got a record deal. I remember hearing him say it took 10 years. I've often wished that I could write songs and play in a band, but I don't have that specific type of writing ability so I've focused on instrumental music instead. A tribute piece is a wonderful idea, but to be honest, my style of music creation is so different that I doubt I would be able to create something that was true to his style. It's a really nice thought, though. :-) Anyhow... Hello Fellow Creatives, If you possibly can, please consider making a small donation to support my website. I don’t allow any advertising on the site because I feel that it would be distracting to my visitors. My website is 100% community supported. Please help support this project…thanks in advance. Halloween is only a couple of weeks away, so this week’s new MP3 tracks are all on my Horror 2 page. They are: GHOULS RULE – (Looping) GHOULS RULE_V001 – (Looping) SOMETHING AWFUL THIS WAY COMES MORE AWFUL THINGS THIS WAY COME – (Looping) MORE AWFUL THINGS THIS WAY COME_V001 – (Looping) https://soundimage.org/horror-2/ Feel free to share my site with anyone who might find it helpful. Closer to twelve years, but, yeah; it used to be that getting a record deal was difficult and only those that could be put on the radio in a few months' time would be considered. I believe that they made more money in small venue gig earnings then they did in record deal earnings until after their second album. Rock and Roll was rough, and that's why the genre has my respect, well, that's not the only reason but it's reason enough. Van Halen is one of my inspiring artists too (one of several). 4 hours ago, Eric Matyas said: A tribute piece is a wonderful idea, but to be honest, my style of music creation is so different that I doubt I would be able to create something that was true to his style. Stay warm this winter...it's going to be colder.
Eric Matyas 482 Posted October 21, 2020 Hello Fellow Content Creators, If anyone happens to be creating Halloween-themed projects, there are lots of scary tracks on my Dark/Ominous pages as well as my Horror/Surreal pages that you can use: https://soundimage.org/dark-ominous/ https://soundimage.org/dark-ominous-2/ https://soundimage.org/horrorsurreal/ https://soundimage.org/horror-2/ My next big project will to create super high-quality Ogg versions of all of my Sci-Fi tracks. If you happen to need some that aren’t converted yet, just me know and I’ll move them to the front of the list. Speaking of Sci-Fi tracks, here’s a brand new one that might come in handy: A FUTURE IN SPACE – (Looping) – An upbeat piece depicting humans and their technology venturing out into the cosmos. https://soundimage.org/sci-fi-9/ Enjoy and keep being creative!
Eric Matyas 482 Posted October 29, 2020 Happy Halloween! (Okay, a couple of days early.) In honor of this spooky holiday, here are some free new tracks that might be helpful for spooky games. They’re haunting my Fantasy 11 page: SPOOKY ENCHANTMENT – (Looping) THE GHOSTIES’ NIGHT OUT – (Looping) THE GHOSTIES’ NIGHT OUT_v001 – (Looping) https://soundimage.org/fantasy-11/ NEWS All of the tracks on my Sci-Fi 2 page are now available in higher quality Ogg format. https://soundimage.org/sci-fi-2/ Advantages of Ogg files: -Game engines handle them better for looping…MP3 files occasionally need editing. -They sound fantastic…almost as good as the original WAVs. -They are small in size. -They’re a cool way to support my work! Enjoy and please stay safe.
