shaz has a script that lets do this, you copy shaz's script into the js/plugin folder of your project.

then inside the plugin manager load the script, edit the parameters for what ever size tiles you want, im assuming you want 32x32

then under that is a where you set the folder you want the script to look for your original 32x32 tiles. i made a new folder img/tilesets32/  <----dont forget the / inside plugin manager.

then what your going to have to do is use a something like gimp, or photo shop scale the image 300% then scale it again by 50% to get it to 48x48 to use in the actual rpg mv editor, and place the original 32x32 set in the img/tilesets32/ folder

make sure the scaled 48x48 tilesets in img/tilesets have the same exact name as the one in the img/tilesets32 folder

in the data base, use the 48x48 tilesets to make your maps, when you load the game, it should run the 32x32 ones from the img/tilesets32 folder.

i did notice a slight lag when doing this, but i think it was just me

also note, that it seems if you want to go 32x32 route, all your tiles have to be 32x32 you cant mix and match

and your welcome

There's a plugin that does just that, I think. I saw it somewhere else. But if you want the RTP of RPG Maker XP used, you can edit and scale it on your own. If you ask me I'd parallax everything, so it would be better and you have big grasp and control over the tiles.

that sounds better but i got a question :o regarding this :o

that giant Tree on the XP tileset. Would that fit with the rest of the Forest tile-sets for MV :o I want to use it as a house in the woods for tree sprites and was wondering if it would fit :o

Otherwise, if you're asking for them to be remade into the larger size, I doubt anybody will be doing that officially for some time. From what I've seen, though, resizing tools are becoming more popular; not sure how well they scale images up, but it seems to be gaining favorable feedback.

Hey, this tool is really good.

http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/46326-xp-to-mv-conversion-script-version-100-released/

It can fully convert an XP game into MV including all of the characters and tilessets. You can even keep them 32x32 by checking a box and using Shaz's plugin.

The only thiing it doesn't do is BGM.

that's perfect!!! thank you so much!!!
