So all of you guys must be aware of the day MV will arrive. Here is the thing, what things do you want or wish to see on MV's 1st week? Do you think it will be nice to see custom resources after a few days?

For me things I want to see first are plugins that can improve the gameplays, yeah I know its not that easy to create plugins in a few days after MV is out but a few simple but great plug-ins will be very nice.

I hope to see a few scripts converted to Java hopefully once its understood how they would work, but I dont have my hopes up since I know not every scripter is planning to convert their scripts.

I don't "hope" for much - I just really want the higher resolution tiles/characters and side view battle, but I do hope to see what the awesome contributors make up for it. With Ace's always amazing supply of tiles and such, I look forward to seeing and learning what they can do with a little bit bigger space to work with.

I really do like the style of the sprites in MV though, and I look froward to using and seeing what are supplied :)

Also, the DLC's and Plugins that are already in the pre-order. I want to see these fully, and maybe use them in my project~

MV supports features I struggled to uphold in my current project so I am fully committed to transferring everything over to MV and finishing my project there.

I want to see me making progress, that's what I want to see. There's already over 30 plug-ins, and some people have already announced plans to covert some scripts and/or write new ones. I mean, all the work they've done already isn't even enough to satisfy you for a week?

Oh, and it's javascript not java. They are completely different languages, and using the wrong term continues to confuse people.

I'll probably bring over some scripts from Ace on the first week.

Some simple ones, like Custom Page Conditions, Large Choices, Choice Options, etc.

Then start to explore some online functionality to work with existing services (eg: facebook, twitter, kongregate, etc)

Also interested in a simple social environment where people log on, and the game creates new players for them on the map.

It'll be like a chatroom in MV, except you have an avatar and you can walk around.

That would be so awesome...

If only multiplayer can be implemented (asynchronous multiplayer can also be good)

Probably the best thing I want to read specially from a master scripter like you. I cant wait for MV to release as I also have something to offer to the community, I just need to wait for 1 day for MV's release so I can resize all of my resouces for the new maker.

I want to see something that isn't a botched operation, I want to see nothing screwed up or missing, or no huge red flag that wasn't mentioned before. That's pretty much it. I'm fairly confident that won't happen though so eh, I guess I'm not too picky.

Sorry I'm way too dumb to understand that haha! But seeing the MV's videos and demos it look so pretty nice and very like Ace, aslo the new char gen is what I really want to try.

I agree with Chaosian,

I only started RPG Maker when Ace went on it's first Humble Bundle Deal. Since then, I invested in the other software purely for extra resources and possible engines, though I do admit XP seems to be the better when it comes to some graphic stuff - pixelated or not.

They seem to have added in good features, removed them for the next release, added in another new feature and then removed that good feature too.

If MV does have something missing, I hope it gets released maybe as an extension or something (Ace#s character gen sucks, so they made GCH kinda thing).

Won't know until tomorrow though >.<

I'm a total hobbyist with a pipe dream of releasing Classika as a finished product. So I already expect it to be a long time before I can finally finish this game and many of the scripts / resources / etc. will be created along the way that I'll leverage.

My biggest concern is whether or not anyone will be doing deliberate stress testing on the games and relaying the results.

How does having too many events on a single map impact users on Android or through a browser?

How big do the file sizes get for phones and is this a cause for concern?

Is there a possibility that a game (finished) and published to mobile will have serious issues when a new mobile OS is released or patched?

How is saving the game handled in a browser and can common mistakes cause severe breaks? (force refreshes, time-out during a save, etc.)

In short, I want to see whether or not MV can hit the ground running or if the testing team properly accounted for my concerns already.
