Glitched Windows

So randomly when i reset my pc rpg makers windows are glitched and the only way to fix it is, shut down laptop

turn back on open steam open rpg maker and hope but it makes window look like this

it starts on that side and the switch's and variables and well all boxes that gray out show i didn't tick any of the boxes i put the numbers in paint

 

so any ideas?

what happens if you tick one of the boxes when the window is glitched?  I can't help, but that info might be important to someone who can.

then it turns them on also i can change them when they like this without ticking them

Is it happen when you try to edit an event?

Or is it happen after you open up rpg maker?

Event but the boxes not being greyed out and the windows not starting in the correct place the database does that as well

Perhaps you could try to close your current project, and start a new blank project.

If the blank project doesn't have the glitch, try to open up your project again.

 

Maybe it'll fix the problem? :/

Anyway, if the blank project doesn't have the glitch, it means the glitch only happen on your current project.

well it's random when i turn on my laptop but on got off for a bit and am back and it's fixed

 

and it's on every project and this can be closed

 

Edit It's still broke some times it will work once then not anymore

Perhaps you should try to PM the coders. (like Rikifive, Tsukihime or SoulPour777)

Your program itself seems corrupted downhow. Maybe during something, your files got messed up.

 

All I can think of is making a backup of your game folder, and reinstalling RPGM.

The editor cannot be modified by scripts in 'Script Editor', as they are loaded upon starting a game. So the problem has to be 'outside'.

Yes, the best thing to try first is to reinstalling the software ~ perhaps it got corrupted.

 

Is there a chance of getting a screenshot of the glitch itself?

It sounds like you could have an issue with your windows font cache.

Try googling 'Corrupt font cache' or similar terms and research things you can try

Ah mine did this before

I was going to make a topic back then but it just fixed itself for no reason.

It may seem dumb but have you tried restarting your computer? Or reintsalling Ace?

@jackus ya it does it a lot now restarting works randomly but I am about to check it the font thing didn't work and reinstalling I tryed that last time it acted up
