Need character set for the 4 God Beasts from Sci-Fi pack

I need character set sprites to go with the 4 God Beasts from the Sci-Fi resource pack. Prefer to have each of them with their individual sprite sheet (with the $ at the start of the filename), with them facing the 4 directions, set to be the same size as the $BigMonster2 character sprites (each one was 120x120 on a 3x4 sprite sheet). If making them face all 4 directions is asking too much, then I can settle for all 4 of them on a single sprite sheet facing downward just like the $BigMonster2 sprite sheet. I'll include a pic of them with their battler sprites for reference below.

Those weren't 'Paid' DLC, I got those when I downloaded the trial version, which was free.

I believe he's talking about to Sci Fi resources which came in the base resource folder for MV. These came in a separate folder I believe because new MV projects were already super huge to make and they didn't want them to be bigger.

 

The only paid DLC are the cover art characters and essentials add-on packs, I believe.

Those weren't 'Paid' DLC, I got those when I downloaded the trial version, which was free.

 

That's where I found them (Or at least one). Baseresource counts as dlc because you have to buy the full version to access it.

 

Did you get them in the trial? I thought you didn't get Baseresource in the trial.

I think the BaseResources aren't actually DLC but is part of the full version of MV.

 

Essentials and Cover Art are the only real DLC - but I suppose since the Base Resources aren't included in the trial, it counts are redistributing resources.

If the resources come with full version of RM MV then it is allowed to post them. Posting paid DLC's and exclusive stuff, that you must pay an extra price (pay more than the base engine, that is) is prohibited.

If somebody has a trial, then he can't make commercial projects and to be honest any of the resources will not help him much.

 

Posting Ace's RTP is not prohibited, and to be able to use that legally (commercially at least) you must buy the program (licence) first.

I got them when I downloaded the trial version, but I have the full version now. Saying they're not allowed because they are only part of the full version instead of the trial version is like saying I can't post those resized RM2k3 monster battlers because my copy of RM2k3 was the old pirated version.

**Btw, I've also posted edited Sci-Fi resources in the resources section & I haven't had a single complaint yet**

 

In fact, it's because of this kind of non-sense is why I don't condone or respect paid resources. Because you can't post or download them & you're forced to encrypt your game just for including them (GethN7's Dragon Quest 1 remake for VX Ace for example). It's this kind of BS that we have to crawl through all this Red Tape just because people want to charge for them when they should be free in the first place!!!

lol I see. It's good to know, though IMO it's kinda stupid. It's like posting Ace's RTP should be prohibited, because to use that legally you must own RPG Maker VX Ace and reposting these resources makes it easier for others to use. (read: steal/~pirate)

I understand DLC's etc., because it's obvious, but default stuff? I think there has to be something in it that I'm just overlooking.

Well anyway, we can't do anything about this and we have to follow the rules then.

 

~ Perhaps there should be a thread with it in RMWeb - what is allowed and what not ~ since I do not own MV and I have no idea what's going on in here, I cannot do that by myself, so Jackus, if you could get more info from RMWeb or open a thread to get that, then it would be helpful in future, because it's not the first time, where the problem with resources occurred. To not completely derail this topic, PM me with info and we'll decide to what to do with that.
